Given that foreigners have tried pilfering Wakanda's vibranium for years, it's natural that T'Challa would be defensive and not answer any questions about vibranium from non-Wakandans.

​​​​@@yapdogThe top was damn near the entirety of the 2010s. The 2010s was basically the MCU decade, as far as pop culture goes overall, despite a few low points like Thor 2. I'm glad I got to spend the late half of my childhood and early half of my teens in that decade, really a privilege to grow up with this franchise and be the kid that got all the toys along the way with each film only to finish the Infinity saga off as I was coming of age in highschool.

@@yapdog Infinity War peaked -- endgame was a huge disappointment. The first five or ten minutes were awesome, but the entire middle section was a slog, and the end built itself up nicely but had a lot of dumb parts too. The highlight was Worthy Cap for sure, but then they did a lot of nonsensical stuff like making Dr. Strange waste all his time whirl-winding some water, and not giving characters like the Maw his due diligence against Strange and Wanda.

Steve got a whole speech when all he asked was whether the suit was made of vibranium

Marvel Writers Back-then: Depth, Humor, Tension, Progression, Realism. Marvel Writers Today: Inclusivity, Lecturing, Corny, Aimless Plot-writing,

T' Challa indirectly answered Steve and threatened him instead to elevate how serious the situation plus he was pissed off how childish Sam talk to him.

What I like is how he doesn't even question Steve, why he dares protecting the killer of his father. He is simply "Yes, I know, you're friends, and I don't care."

‘I better not look out the window and see anyone flying around in that..’ You think your getting a window..? Lol

He didn't threaten Cap, he threatened Bucky.

Because Tony Stark was the Mary Sue Favored Child. The producers, maybe? wanted to be the intellectual rich kid. All the multiple times he caused the problem that Cap and others ended up fixing, there were never consequences for Tony.

You all realize that Cap's silence in this scene was just coming from his characteristic politeness, magnanimity, and compassion for a man who recently lost his father. Otherwise, when asked how long he thinks he can keep Bucky safe from T'challa, he could've just replied, "I dunno. . .as the literal Symbol and savior of the United States of America, and someone whose actual war experience includes fighting off droves of Nazis, Aliens, and Killer drones. . .how much time do you have?"

The time is irrelevant as the only time cap has ever bested t'challa one on one is when they were being manipulated by aliens to fight. Every other time they faced off, cap lost so it wouldn't be long

This is Captain America: Civil War... It's essentially an Avengers movie that falls in between Avengers: Age of Ultron and Avengers: Infinity War

despite the movie's flaws I enjoyed robert/tony being forced into the role of the "bad guy" and still think they wasted him by not putting him there more often

It's extremely funny how nobody cares to bring up the Ret-con Black Panther 1 did to this scene. Those of you who are not smart enough to realize it: This movie firmly establishes that the king and Black Panther as separate titles, yet Black Panther 1 redoes this by making them 1 and the same, like in the books. Which anybody with half a brain would know they simply did for the Stevens character. You know the people behind the MCU are really stupid for allowing these retcons to be done. Like that's the whole reason why Robert and the Hulk don't act like how they should have been acting in the MCU starting with Avengers 1 abd so on
