On this day in 1968 I was 15, and we were going on a school trip from England to Spain. On the cross-channel ferry, there were two pieces of news, the Russians had invaded in Prague, and the Beatles had released Hey Jude. I'm ashamed to say that we mostly focused on the Beatles. It's not that were indifferent, as young 60's hippy types we had followed the Prague Spring with great rejoicing - it's just that we naively thought the Russians would never invade in defiance of world opinion. And Hey Jude was very good. Another nice model and great video. Thanks, also for the memories.

there r 4 nations who r involved in this campaign, not only ‘russians’. i see too many ‘western’ mind people around the world judging russians. remember that modern russia try to defend their motherland, not to invade. as u guys can see that ‘west’ country r invading and involve war in many country like in the middle east, southeast asia, etc. and they’re claiming that every action is to bring freedom and peace, but they started a war? i remember that million of people in palestine died bcs the invasion of israel in the decades. and see what world reaction? they silent. and now russia try to defend their motherland and the world judge them? ironic. sorry my english is bad. i hope peace will come to every country in the world. i just need to speak about this.
