    Hi there Plasmo from Norway. I just love your videos. I am now 47 years old...and for the first time since i was 13 I now know what I want for xmas. I did a LOT of modelling when i was young. Did all of the usual stuff...nice model, airplanes, automobiles, WWII and so on. That was a hell of a learning curve and now I just wonder what the kids of today miss. I am a history-nerd and i know a lot of history. My profession is photography and filmmaking. I also know that the exploring, the sheer joy of building models when i was a child/teen was the best education ever. hundreds of hours at school for kids today do not match what we learned about history, wars, geography and engineering when we built that models in our youth. I read all, watched documentary, got an understanding of politics, warfare and democracy from building models. Spitfire, Tirpitz, Hood and Junkers and Stukas...how many of the kids today know about those things...hell...I was an expert on the Red Baron and got to know about the first world war building "his" airplane. And then i grew up..stopped building...but still had all the knowledge in my head from back then. And now...so many years after. I stumbled into your channel...and got hooked again. I know i can build better now. More precise. And it is all because of you and your builds. I know what I want for cristmas. A brand new Typhoon1/24. Need to buy a lot of things before I start. But it will be my best bird ever. My wife and kid already got my wish so I hope,. Haha. Well. Just wanted to say you are my inspiration. The best model channel in YT. Thank you for again guiding me into what I love the most. Keep up the good videos coming. Sorry for bad English but just a history-nerd from Norway here. All the best from Norway. Just a xmas wish from me...Would love to see a diorama from your side about the Tirpitz being sunk in northern Norway. It really could be a future masterpiece from the master. :) And check out operation Gunnerside. :)

    I'd love some kind of what if 1946 diorama. Maybe a destroyed T-44 and Maus or something like that? Could be a small series. Could also be a chance to do a video on destroyed vehicles. If you do it really big, it could fit the twin flak E100 too ;)

    Im working on a panzer 4 ausf h and I cut off most the parts and made a lot of scratch built stuff, I made 2 sets of armor for the side mounts, I made resin tracks and multiple tools, I'm working on making tow cables, canister holders, and I'm doing it with the red oxide for the base, German grey for the camo and then paint over it with the desert camo Cause I'm making it as a tank that's been through a lot of combat and moved around

    I saw your diorama with a Russian KV tank. An amazing work and a perfect experiment with the effect of water, that's *WHY I CAME HERE WITH AN OFFER* about cool diorama that may interest you. A few years ago, I was working on the theme of the B17 bomber, which rests in a lake not far from my home. What do you say about the diorama with the use of an airplane and the effect of water? There is not much like that. Most dioramas features vehicles, tanks, possibly some sides of buildings or forests. A B17 bomber crashed near the coast would be really amazing in the case of dioramas, because most authors do not use aircraft in their constructions. If you are interested in such a vision, let me know, I will try to send you details on Facebook, photos and how this cartain B17 looked like. Of course, B17 is B17, but it's about colors, numbers, radio markings or patches that were given to the bomber before losing it. He'd been hit a few times and his color had been changed in few parts. Pictures of your diorama would be a perfect complement to the palace near the lake, where artifacts extracted from the lake are exhibited. Keep up this awesome job, it's very relaxing and inspiring to watch your content!

    Great as always :) But tracks are bit too saggy. Tanks with front gearbox and sprocket wheel (Shermans, Panzers) have strongly tensionned tracks. Different case is with tanks with rear gearbox (i. e. KV tanks) They tend too have more loose tracks, because track is pushed not pulled. Greetings from Poland :)

  • @Panzermeister36

    @Panzermeister36

    5 жыл бұрын

    Track sag has nothing to do with the drive sprocket location. Shermans have "Fast Tracks" which tend to bow out and do not sag. Plenty of American tanks of that era had the same. German and Soviet tanks had more standard tracks that sag due to their weight, and do look like this in reality.
