@Simplex Fire Alarm Guy I got into simplex. One of the companies i said i was gonna reach out to got back to me. They are a major distributor and the best part is i impressed them with a demonstration board i made last Christmas. Im going to see what i can pull and exactly how much assorted fire alarm parts i can retrieve for myself.

@@officialsimplexguy The company was the one that installed the 4100u and the devices in my school and they were the ones who called johnson controls to program it from my understanding. Im gonna exploit the fact this company has those contacts and im gonna leak devices and a simplex panel into my collection. Im also going to exploit that this company itself is a major est distributor and use that to get newer siga devices and an io64 and see how i can tie two panels of different brands together using monitor modules. My school literally has that type of setup: an est system in a field house tied together with a simplex panel in the main building.

I have a fire lite ms4 panel and when I went to install the batteries the trouble will not go away. Could it be that the batteries are bad? Let me know

Couple things to check: 1. Date of the batteries. If they are a few years old. They could be defective 2. Check the amperage on the batteries and make sure theyre the same. What can happen if they are different is the panel will end up over charging one and at the same time the other wont fully charge which could be dangerous 3. Have you tried other batteries. If they give you a trouble the battery charger could be bad

@@officialsimplexguy my fire lite ms4 panel is still in mint condition. I tired the 2 12v 5ah batteries. Didn’t work. I also tried the 2 12v 7ah batteries and didn’t work. The wiring harness is new too. Do you think I need new batteries
