Dimitris Tsinarian im by no means a big supporter for mtvs excistance but first two years or so it helped mainstream music..even forged opportunities for bands and artists who would have never got big if mtv wasnt there at the time..half of these bands were just 1 hit wonder bullshit but still..they enjoyed some success..At that same time mtv hit the air some of the best heavy metal bands were packin arenas and putting out their best albums..mtv didnt ruin them..1984 and beyond mtv definitely soul sucked and corporatized music..but the bands went along with it too..sold out to make that bigtime loot and fame.

Daron has the most weirdest unique and most awesome backing vocals that I ever in any band . His high pitches give me goosebumps and his screams . Especially these parts 0:33 , 0:53, 1:13 1:56 All I can say is that we will never have another person like Daron ever again . And I miss these days where he can hit these awesome pitches . His guitar playing is flawless and hard to do while with these type of backing vocals. Parts like these gave me chills too 2:02 with the sound of the guitar . Too bad he couldn't pull off the long scream at 2:23 . Its probably a hard scream pitch to hit right live I guess. No other band will ever have someone special like him . Very talented band . Wish I can meet them . They all seem unique in their own way .

I've heard rumours of a System of a Down album without Serj since they reunited, but every time they're asked about it, they don't treat it as a legitimate question. Instead, and in typical SoaD fashion, they crack sarcastic jokes and humorously criticize the question. The general consensus is that SoaD will not record more songs in studio in the near future due to Serj's absence and all of the band members' side projects, but will continue to perform the occasional live show together.
@I_am_Jordan_K
9 жыл бұрын
I mean...Serj's solo stuff and Scars on Broadway both sound like SOAD without Daron/Serj respectively, so I don't know why they don't just write new music together. Maybe it's a clash of egos, and all they can really do is perform together.

The venue, microphones, lighting, and sound engineers nailed it. That’s why it sounded soo good live.

Easily the best performance of this song. The whole band looks like there having a blast up there just jamming hard. Man rock then was so versatile & so many varieties of the rock genre were blowing up at the time. Now & days everyone is trying to sound like the same.

@I_am_Jordan_K

I mean...Serj's solo stuff and Scars on Broadway both sound like SOAD without Daron/Serj respectively, so I don't know why they don't just write new music together. Maybe it's a clash of egos, and all they can really do is perform together.
They are unbelievably cool actually. This performance is the highest artm so delicious, so emotional and intellectual at the same time. Really this is a talent from heavens.
