This is my most popular video on my channel, and I don't understand why. The only original thing about it is the quality. The image is stretched, it's over saturated, and it was played on my PS3. What's so nostalgic about this? Lol

It's because you didn't play it when it came out. You can't have nostalgia for something you didn't play when it was first comming out. Tell me you don't know the definition of nostalgia without knowing the definition of nostalgia😂😂 like listening to a Thriller and trying to remember the hype but you just listened to it 2 decades after it came out.

The thing that made me really cream my pants was the control scheme. It allowed for a lot more flexibility than games I'd played before.

The old PlayStation opening chime literally just almost brought a tear to my eye... then the 989 studios really did it.

Good times man, I was 7-8 years old playing this in 1999-2000

When I was playing this as a kid I definitely did not have the mental capacity to understand all the intrigue going on in the cutscenes between levels. Thanks a lot for the nostalgia, and making the game look so easy.

@@thedarkkontroller8160 yeah man.. 01 runescape I felt like the game was real life. I'd go outside and find a branch that looked like a sword with a hilt. I'd pretend to slay goblins and "level up" good times

My grandfather gave me his ps1 when he caught me playing this by myself in the game room that was supposed to be locked. I was 5 years old. He let me have the whole system, games and all. I played this game for hours!! Still remember most of the levels. I still have that PlayStation and games to this day...thanks for the memories😄

Was not my first game i born in 80 era and this was m 3-4 console XD Good momeries tough luckily even that time no walktroughs exist 1 level stage was uber easy probably everone made it 1-2 tries

As a gun owner, I can confirm that all guns make a "click click" sound anytime you pick them up. It's a fact.

This game gives me a nostalgia hit like no other. I think of syphon filter and I'm instantly teleported back to the old days jamming songs I downloaded off limewire on my mp3 player and playing the crap outta this game lol

It was Metal Gear Solid, Syphon Filter, and Splinter Cell. Played all 3 at the time, but Syphon Filter 2 was probably the best

Well syphon filter 2 was on 3 of north 🌎 🇺🇸 America's ps1 demo discs 30 44 and 50

I remember getting this in early 99 before it was released. I use to buy games off thos one dude and he would sometimes get the games before they were out. 😊

@@GameKai51 They came out with a sequel on the PS2. But honestly, it wasn't as good. Not by far. I think it was called 'Omega' something. It's been years though. I wish they'd remake it.

The voice and sound effects. it brings back memories from my grade school days. Always excited to get home just to play this game.

My dad had Siphon Filter and I played this game all the time! I absolutely loved it and I loved that taser all the time. It was a groundbreaking game and seeing this was really nostalgic of the great times I had with my dad. Thanks for posting this.

This game is a total jewel, and is a sea of nostalgia for me .... I played it when I was 8 years old, I was a kid who had no idea what the memory card was and I don't know how difficult it was to play but for me it was extremely difficult, now I see it again and every mission you can feel the quality of what the game was, besides I didn't play it in my language and I didn't understand anything, I remember that I managed to get to the base of the elicopter and no matter how hard I tried I could not figure out how to destroy it, I tried thousands of times and by then there was no youtube with a guide hahaha adding that every time I turned off the console I had to start from scratch. Without a doubt one of my favorites, the mission of the park with the rain was a pleasure for me, such a good atmosphere and I don't remember it until now.

This deserves a graphical overhauled updated. Everything about this game was dope.

Thanks for this long play brother! I loved this game as a kid but could barely understand what was happening half the time honestly, I just liked popping the terrorists and seeing blood. I also had the third game and the same thing happened haha. That opening hotel shootout was definitely a high action and adrenaline scene

I smiled to myself seeing this gameplay. flashlights, running while shooting, police cars, and the coolest thing is a long stun gun that can reach the roof of a building and continue until the terrorists burn. ha ha ha. thank you brother, giving good memories about PS 1 at that time. I have never stopped playing games since then until now I am a KZreadr game

How the bad guys miss with a shotgun point blank is beyond me. Great game still. I remember playing this with my brothers and father for hours!

Floors me the amount of time detail effort testing that went into creation of the 90s games. And they are better than most crap unfinished games geting put out these days. Proud to be a 90s kid and to have this experience. So many hours of painful play but it wass all worth it

Man oh man the memories! The pizza rolls sitting on the shag carpet in the game room! Before cheat codes and youtube this game was quite a strategy game which in alot of cases surpassed our mental capabilities as kids

I still have a working (and working very well) PS2. I play this game from time to time. The first three were awesome. This gane and the metal gear series launched a whole new era for the gaming industry. Meaning the enemy hid and shot back with percision and was smart. I love all the older games!
