I think she is a good example of a character who is equal to her teammates. She pulls her weight and is a valuable member when magic expertise is needed. The best part of the show for me was Isaac. He pulled a Kaleesi with a happy ending.

Her creativity on using her powers never fails to impress me, especially when she blocked that arrows using ice ball, and when she tried to protect that one men, using ice sphere shield, where it could cut the enemies limbs. This is why I laugh every time I hear some one say, "men can't stand strong women." Bullshit. We love strong women; Sypha's a perfect example. What Sypha is NOT, is a stoic, humorless, butch misandrist, which is what Hollywood seems to think is the ideal representation of a strong woman. Let strong women be WOMEN; not stand-ins for men.

Also the other person is right. She uses her magic with creativity and precision. Unless she gets angry.
"Mages are stationary combatants" Sypha: "Lol. Lmao." *blows forty demons up while figure-skating*
The creativity of how they had her using magic in this series was excellent. Normally your have a wizard, warlock or sorcerer just using the same repeat spell casts without anything new, while Sypha used the spells she already perfected and came up with creative new ways in how to manipulate the elements
She was strong, yes, but she was SUPER creative with her powers and her real power was to improvise
I like how she can fight long range and in close quarters. She is very creative and resourceful.
@beckhampang191

Yes its so refreshing seeing a mage be a close range combatant
I appreciate that she and Trevor clearly level up throughout the series. Her INT stat is off the charts by the end, while Trevor's been dumping points into strength and constitution.
I really like how Sypha’s magic isn’t just generalised magic, it’s energy based She obviously primarily uses ice, which is the lack of energy, as heat is derived from the movement of particles and particles don’t move without energy She also uses fire quite a bit, which is the presence of energy, as we just discussed And a few times she uses electricity, which is the transferral of energy

No difference with any other magic you'd see anywhere else. You just described the elements used.
I love how aware of the battlefield she is. She uses every resource she has and plans ahead with every spell she casts. She may be cornered but she pulls some ice from a previous spell to obliterate her enemy and, by the way, uses the remaining to save her team mates from certain death. The creativity and intelligence she has is one of the best uses of magic I ever seen, maybe even better than in Avatar
It's like watching a far more deadly combination of Katara and Zuko. She really was my favorite.

Her development as a cqc fighter is insane. Season 1 sypha had no answers when an enemy would close the distance. Now she readily fights close range cause she’s more used to it now.
Sypha really set the bar when it comes to magic in the show. I don’t think we’ll ever see a speaker or any other sorcerer reach anything similar to her power.
Didn't really appreciate the true genius of Sypha's fighting IQ. Girl did a sling shot maneuver off of a singularity .
I LOVE that they did not make Sypha the old cliche female character, who is really OP, but whose powers are watered down requiring them to be saved every episode. Instead, when enemies tried Sypha she showed them what an OP mage can really do.
Do you know what is so incredibly awesome? A strong, confident, powerful women who totally kicks ass - all while rocking short hair & being fully dressed! We need more characters like her!
I feel like Sypha and Avatar Kyoshi would get along very well. Discussing creative elemental ways to kill and whatnot.
A lot of people don't know but, thanks to Sypha the Belmonts can use magic. Sypha and Trevor's union infused the Belmonts bloodline with mystic arts. Sypha is definitely epic and my favorite Castlevania spellcaster.

This has got to be arguably the most skilled individual in an anime I've ever seen
She started as someone being saved to becoming someone they cannot live without. Alucard and Trevor both would have died and killed without her talent, abilities, skills, magic and wit.
7:46 is the best shot, just unbelievably awesome
They got so creative with her magic powers and I absolutely freaking love that..
Literally some of the sickest magic fights I've ever seen in animation.
Her mastery over lightning is so sick.
She's never seems tired after using such amount of spells....I would say she's one of the strongest characters comparing to many anime characters if we logically think about her endless mana
0:44 The animators of this show were geniuses, holy _shit._
My girl is the definition of BATTLE MAGE
Sypha carrying the show since she got caught stoned on set xD
I like that she holds back and fights very gently when she fights human.
I like how she actually control the elements and not just making big fireballs and waves of ice
I like how she did some hand combat moves using elements instead of just firing them to enemies
Sypha is such a badass! And very creative with her powers too! Awesome video ❤

One thing I love about Magic in Castlevania, is that it feels like magic. Sounds weird but I like that it has no explanation or "system," to ground it. Because its magic and at the very least its consistent.

Magic users that know how to throw hands will always be peak to me. Plus, it makes sense. What if magic is not enough in a fight? The Nasuverse (Fate/Garden Of Sinners/Tsukihime) and even Ben 10 OG/AF/UA understands that. I'm glad Castlevania knows it too.

Just simply super powerful !
Favorite character hands down!!!
She is the true battle mage
Nocturne's fights aren't bad at all but not a single one has the level of sheer imagination that went into the Season 3 finale fight here. Annette, Tera, Richter and Marie *combined* have nothing on Sypha *alone* in terms of sheer magical versatility and even raw POWER. It's a lot like young Toph from Airbender versus her descendants in Legend of Korra.
Dracula's first impressions: Alucard - "Not now, son." *Raises hand* Trevor - "You must be the Belmont." *Raises hand* Sypha - "SPEAKER MAGICIAN!!!" *Protects himself*
The speakers are my fav magic user of all time!
Very Satisfying!!!! ❤❤❤❤
