More BASSics please!!! (legit I’m having so much problems with bass design theory & just getting started...there so many tutorials on hyper specific ones but would be great for a bass music bass 101!!!)

Would love if you could do a video on your approach to sound design. Like if you have a sound in mind. How do you start out to get as close as possible to the sound you got in mind? And although it's not really basic: How to prevent phase issues when creating basses.

Good day! Are you planning to discuss tracks of your subscribers? After watching your tips for Serum I have made a track and it would be great to hear your opinion about it.

I’m glad to hear that! I was thinking it made sense to do a video where we get back to basics so everyone can get up to speed!
THANK YOU!! Modulating how much modulation gets applied is so game changing! Great Video!
Yoo this has to be the most concise tutorial on synthesis I've ever seen! Thanks!
Excellent!
thank you!
Thx Mr. Stranjah! 🙂👍
Great job explaining the basics! I'm sure this will help a lot of people getting into synthesis. I've been working with serum for a while now but still learned a few things and got some inspirations.
Dude. Class tutorial, you made that really understandable. Made more sense than any previous tutorial I’ve watched. Legend. Thank you.
Love your videos, please do one on building tension and nailing breakdowns

Thanks for another helpful video! 👍 Tell us about the rest of the settings in the Matrix section next time. Also, in one of the previous videos, I asked to show how to make bass from Transition by Macky Gee and DJ Phantasy, but now I really want to know how to make bass from one track from the last album Macky Gee called Joy. Thousands of attempts to do something like this, I think I have already tried all the waveforms to achieve a similar sound, but still it does not work. I hope for your help, I love your videos!🔥🔥🔥
The first 10 min I was like ah I already know this stuff, and then you went over the 3 basses and I was like 🤯
Bruh I just found ur channel and holy fuck ur so informative, thank youuuu
I vibe off seeing the way everyone approaches serum differently. You have a solid skill set with your sound design. Would love to see how you would approach making some classic sounds like a mentasm (Joey Beltram) or a classic Hoover, know what I mean?

Looking forward to this, I think a series that focuses on helping begginer edm producers become better would be so useful to me and others

Please tell me where we can get the smartelectronixs oscilloscope! I cant find one that works with my Ableton, its the latest Ableton and Im using a macbook pro.
It would be nice to hear some sounds along the visualisations and instructions. edit: changed to 'real' speakers. my room is shaking.
He setup envelope one but why would you use envelope two for pitch modulation and not just env1?
You've had 999 likes on this video. Now you have 1000. Thank you.
Learning synthesis has been such a pain in the ass for me, but this really helps lol. Wish you would do a little demo or preset pack for Vital (wink wink bass patches wink wink) but this is still good stuff to review. 😅

24 does not equal 2 octaves in serum. Its between 18 19 which obv doesnt help that much.

In regards to the global pitch modulation I've wondered this myself. It has a value of 0-100 positive and negative. typically when dealing with pitch, things will adjust in increments of 12 (an octave) and the max will be something like 24, 48, 96. So with it having a max of 100, either Serum's pitch modulation can top and bottom out at 8.333 octaves, which is a super weird. or to get exact pitch we would have to know the max value of it's pitch bend ability, and divide by 12 to know the value of a true octave.
