As I mix more I'm really starting to get a feeling for this new style of music that I'm falling in love with. I say that because I started mixing in 1992 and then stopped around 2008. I've only just got back into it and yeah, to some people I'm cheating by using beat sync, but would you really know (there's one mix that wouldn't auto sync so I have actually done it manually. If you can't tell then you know I can mix 😉)?
Beat sync allows me much more time to play with effects and the gain pots to manipulate the sound for a more dynamic experience.
I've embraced the addition of the new tech; content with myself that I cut my teeth on vinyl mixing back in the 90s and 2000s🙂
