One out of a billion DJs out there who is not all about himself and unnecessarily overtouching knobs, doing cringy hand gestures and whatnot... Instead it's all about the music. It's refreshing to see that. And yes, of course the music will be good by someone with such genuine approach.

Dj’s that actually beat match, that actually select tracks one by one, are actually working. Those with the hand gestures have the “work done digitally and/or automatically” so they have to PRETEND they are working.

Slow and precise mixing is rare today, something slow to come and something slow to go. The imagery is equally pleasing, no unnecessary artificial effects but the power of space.

@@urghey990yes, but no. In Spanish there are words with multiple meanings depending on the context. “Rico” means rich, but it can also mean “tasty / nice”. Same as with “Suave” it means “smooth” but in this context means “charming” (the english ‘suave’) “Banco” (bank, as in financial institution) can also mean ‘banco’ as a stool/bench. See what I mean? That’s Spanish for you. Also, you have to consider that Spanish _also_ ‘changes’ country to country. A word in my home country can mean something completely different in another one.

I keep coming back to this. If a cat loudly purring onto a mic is ever a dj set this just might be it. Joe your mix and vinyl collection is to die for.

I've watched/listened to this set in its entirety probably 20-30 times at this point. It even inspired me to track down videos on basic mixing so I could understand some of the movements you make on the deck. Watching you flow like water with the music is so cool, please keep making these.
