with three teams to be relegated to the second division at the end of the season, west ham are now in a dangerous position, in fourth place from the bottom, with 14 points from 22 games. chelsea are in a more comfortable position with 19 points from 22 games, in fourteenth place in the first division table.

I'm American, I was at this game. I was 6. My Dad was a British expatriate, and we came back to visit. My uncle had tickets. I was nearly trampled badly in the ensuing melee. Great story.
I was there! In The Shed! 44,000+ in the ground. Lots of fighting before the game as the police tried to escort the WHU down to the away end. The Shed was so packed, my feet were off the ground the whole time. My 2nd ever match. Great to see this footage!
