Critic of communism yes,but certanly he was not Friedrich Hayek,Murray Rothbard or Milton Friedman.he was socialist,otherwise he wouldn't use state government as a means to direct society and economy..i don't hate the man,i respect him a lot even though i dont agree with all his ideas and methods,,but don't be fooled,he was socialist

Also a critic of capitalism. 90% of housing is state owned. Healthcare is publicly funded. He made sure housing was racially diverse. Lee Kuan Yew learned a lot from Mao.

@@wuniwanzi probably not, especially in the 1970s. Most of his chinese speeches were probably carefully prepared and rehearsed. He did work very hard on it though, going for chinese lessons up till even his later years.

1976, China was so poor, so outdated, way way behind many Asian countries in all aspects of development (economic, health care, industrial output, housing & car ownership, education, finance, food production and I believe some Chinese were so poor that they were not able to have 2 meals a day due to large scale famine) . Who could have imagined that in the next 40 years, China is the second largest economy in the world. ( to be exact, it only take 30 years 1978-2008 for China to grow from almost zero car ownership to the largest car market in world ) and not to mention the world largest high speed rail network. What led to the desperate situation of China being "so poor, so outdated, way way behind many Asian countries in all aspects of development" in 1976? It is the Chinese Communist Party. This nasty party squandered 26 years on mass killing -- 50 million from 1959-1961 and millions more during the Cultural Revolution. Had the Nationalist Party won the civil war, China would have been a moderately developed country far earlier than we actually see. The Communist Party should be held accountable and condemned to death forever!

@@KIMJUNGEUNism such a lie the nationalist party was also responsible of famine that took about 3 million to 10 million people in 1928 to 1930 and also the famine of henan in 1942-1943 that took 2-3 million lives. In that short period of year the nationalist didn't even bother upgrading chinese infrastructure and chose to fight the CCP where they lost and came to Taiwan and commit mass genocide and the white incident.

毛泽东这时候80多岁第二年去世，身高有缩水而且驼背，加上小腿严重的浮肿无法站直，身高已经矮了很多了。1960年175cm出头的切格瓦拉访华，切格瓦拉穿军靴毛泽东穿皮鞋从照片和视频看两人差不多高度。我外公56年的时候面对面见过毛泽东主席，他本人部队体检裸高175cm，他给我讲的是毛泽东比他高一些。所以我推测63岁的毛泽东应该在177cm的样子，青壮年的时候应该有180cm或180cm以上。
