I asked ' Pinch of Nom' if they could give me a chicken and pineapple recipe before they bought out the book as I was craving a Chinese, they kindly gave me this recipe, so I make it quite often but leave out the lemon ,just thought I would tell you as some people dont like lemon , thank you for sharing its better than the Chinese and you know what goes into it x

Absolutely better than a takeaway, as you say you know exactly what you're putting in your own dishes

I can't eat sweetener the saccharin makes my heart pump harder ..so I buy a can of pineapple chunks and use the juice to sweeten .. I used to buy Chicken and Pineapple from the takeaway so when I started Slimming World I asked 'pinch of nom' by email if they could provide me with a recipe for my fave chinese dish and they kindly sent me one .. I was amazed they are really brilliant ,this looks lovely I will give it a go with the lemon x

There are lots of different sweeteners available that contain no saccharin.

Just made this now - honestly I am so impressed such an easy video to follow and the chicken and sauce are beautiful !

Do you have to syn cooked lemon? And didn't the lemon make a bitter flavour after some time? I usually find cooked lemon turns bitter.

Maybe lower the quantity otherwise it might be too sour but I'm sure you could

Yes I did but I didn't eat it

Just tried it wasn’t that nice definitely won’t be making again definitely way to sour even with 4 spoons of sweetener
