This is a virtual performance of Sorabji's Symphonic Variations for Piano and Orchestra created by Alberto Vignani who has also editied and typest the score which is available from the Sorabji Archive.

The orchestra and piano version is of only the first volume of the three volume work of the same name for solo piano. The orchestra and piano version includes the theme and first 27 variations as well as an extended orchestral Introita. This version last for 2 hours 34 minutes. The full three volume solo piano version is estimated to last approximately 8+ hours and is likely to exceed Sequentia Cyclica as the longest work written by Sorabji.
Alberto's virtual performance was created using Dorico notation software, Wallander NotePerformer 4.5, Modartt Pianoteq 8.2, Spitfire Symphonic Orchestra 2024, VSL Synchron Prime, VSL Duality Strings and Samplicity Berlin Studio reverb.
