I love that this channel is not about throwing shade but taking up responsibility and fixing your own life. I appreciate the heart and hardwork you put into making this available to the public so people know that what's shown on social media isn't always reality and there's difficult struggles that we all go through but there's always one more move to make and it's never the end. Crazy crazy inspiring. Looking forward to the series

She threw shades at the police. She said the police was trying to find things to put her behind bars. Police investigate to see the person got reported whether innocent or not. Not trying to find things to put her behind bars.

If indeed the reports were falsely filed against you, those are offences under S.182 Penal Code 1871 and will be for the IO to put up recommendations for AGC to review whether to charge. It’s a very serious offence, especially since it was a whole year of investigation by the IO and an absolute waste of resources.

But i think they show some evidence such as the whatsapp messages which does show to some extent that look like she prostituting her talent which is why the police decided to open case to investigate.

@@yangb6585 Not quite sure what you mean in the later part of your comment but I totally agree with you that she’s TALKING A LOT BUT NOT REALLY SAYING ANYTHING AT ALL. I hope viewers can see through her BS. I’m not saying she’s guilty of all the charges made against her. I’m also not a supporter of her ex-husband/ business parter (to me me they are both very questionable characters, birds of the same kind, just one party obviously has much better EQ & understands the game of “buying” people over). I’ve only watch 19 mins of this video so far & I plan to finish watching it but 19 mins is not a short time & all she covered in that time frame is: there were 100 cases made against her, the investigation dragged on & on for 12 months, she was so scared that even if she strongly believed she didn’t commit any crime anything slightly off was enough to put her in jail & she had to spend thousands to buy old bank statements & sieve through boxes of reports that she didn’t know how to read. Come on, what went on & on is her playing the scared victim card. No valuable details shared at all. Maybe I’m being presumptuous here, maybe she shares more details later on. But I doubt so cos in 19 mins she could have said so much but she said so little despite talking so much. And the ways she smirks at certain points. And the way she speaks. It just comes across very drama, like she’s treating this as a “spill the tea” session. If I were her & I really want to let the public know what injustice was done to me through a podcast, this is not the approach that I would take. She is one smart cookie but unfortunately very narcissistic.

@gc23336 & @aly5130 I agree with both of you. To me, this is a case of two very flawed characters with very questionable morals who came together in union (marriage & business) then trying to drag each other down when they decided to separate. One party clearly knows she’s smart & thinks she’s superior & thinks she can treat others without respect. The other party is a massive manipulator, very good at EQ & “buying people over”. I watched their content because they were entertaining but from very early on I already felt that there’s a snobbish air to them & I was very disgusted with an old video that they did with Jianhao & Dee in which they basically just put down, in bitchy, nasty ways, other local youtubers whom were not in their little childish clique. To my surprise, there wasn’t really a big backlash to that video, it was taken down, I believe, but I expected all of them to be cancelled or at least more discourse around that video but I think most viewers just thought it was entertaining. To me, that video cemented my very bad impression of the couple (& their friends). I also thought it says quite a bit about viewers who thought nothing of that video. So it didn’t come as a surprise that both characters turned out to be such big narcissists/ manipulators. I saw that revelation coming just not in that exact way that it happened.

While I am still pretty much on the fence, I do kinda agree that if everyone does the same thing to her it could mean she is the problem to begin with. Though, that's given that the other party wasn't manipulating the thoughts of those mutual friends they had. However with that being said, no matter how bad a person she was, was such treatment by people around her necessary? Going to the extent of trying to get her criminalised, giving her the major share of a sinking ship such that she can handle whatever that comes with it while the other person happily goes ahead and starts another company and youtube channel? At this point I am not sure who's worse here and I feel the narrative painted out previously wasn't the entire picture. Well, none of us outsiders will ever have the full picture anyway. Nonetheless, I hope everyone moves on from this point and have a fulfilling life ahead, all the best Sylvia and I hope you do indeed learn your lesson regardless how much of the root cause originated from you and your action.

(+ unresolved trauma from childhood etc) it ended up creating two monsters (in the relationship) that both of them can’t handle anymore. that’s when everything went downhill. no one should be hated or blamed. (it’s none of our business too) i’m just happy to see both of them healing, growing and doing well now. i love to see them win, not against each other, but individually in their lives!

I can really understand when Sylvia said she started begging the police to save her nearing the end of the investigation, you know that feeling when there’s literally nobody can help you, at this point if it’s me, I can’t even trust the person even if they’re professionally hired. Just because that scary feeling of betrayal is so deeply scarred and POLICE are the only people you trust now because they represent justice, they ARE the justice. Tbh I was kinda scared by Sylvia’s personality back in the days watching the old vids, but she becomes so calm, comfortable, soft but strong from the inside now, not the one that shouts and swears easily in every few seconds of the video. Call me lame but i have always rooted for you deep down because of the female’s 6th sense, and of course when the police said something like “choose better friends“, we all can do the guessing here. Nevertheless so happy that you’re back, your content has always been so high in quality, can’t wait for your updates!

Police officers aren’t motivated to put anyone in jail…they are there to find the truth and then objectively decide if to recommend charging someone in court. I noticed this Stockholm Syndrome where Sylvia was immensely grateful to the io for investigating into crimes she didn’t commit , where she had to sacrifice holidays and provide proofs of innocence amounting to $5-6k at her own costs . And those complainants who reported her were minimally inconvenience and got away with a false accusation. Regardless of the outcome, it would be a victory for those complainants for causing distress and pain for more than 12 months of investigation due to those allegations. I wished there is more accountability for people who make false police reports

But with that said, if the false accusation was true in Singapore context, AGC would have pushed to charge her "friends". Problem is it's a he say/she say situation where she doesn't have any prove that they did it, that's pretty suspicious for someone who prides herself for keeping all the receipts and conversations, the chances of it happening is closed to 0% when her "friends" brought out the plain black and white evidences but she can't.

I'm not familiar with NOC or Sylvia before the whole saga but listening to this podcast and hearing what she had to endured during the 2 years after getting falsely accused made me feel really sorry for her. However, just like a few people here who had commented, I have my doubts about Sylvia's character before this. To have 100+ police reports by so many people that u see as friends falsely lodged against u just to see ur downfall, I'm pretty sure it wasn't a matter as simply as "self-betrayal" and the failure in making right friends. Maybe she had done something bad to them, something unkind, or she was being an awful person, which was why she was getting these as revenge, NOT that I justify any of this false criminal accusation though. I think they are horrible. If she really was a bad person and had wronged people in the past, I just want to say, it will be a very respectable thing if she could be honest and share the mistakes she had done in the past, and how she had learnt from them and changed. Everyone makes mistakes and it's not a shameful thing to admit these, it's worse to run away from them and keep lying to urself and other people that it was never ur fault. But this is just an IF she really had a character issue. I don't know her and I'm not saying she is bad. Otherwise, I really feel sorry and painful for her that she had to go through all of this. Being this strong and enduring is never easy. I hope Sylvia all the best from now and meet only good and inspiring people. Just like what she said, you get what with the kind of energy u emit. Be kind to people and shall u be returned with kindness and love. I'm looking forward to the rest of the episodes.

Daniel is so emotional about your experience despite him hearing about it more than once (i assume u all would have rehearsed) and that showed how he could be your better friend if he still isnt. From faking an online/offline persona for likes and profits, to having the imposter syndrome and then overcoming the odds and becoming the "hero", you guys really address the issues that people encounter throughout their lives. Even though it is eventually about selling your courses/"masterclasses", you are doing a better job at creating value compared to the 124567431231 life coaches and the "my ex landed me in deep shit" interviews out there. Congrats for coming out of the bottomless pit of self-victimisation and hopefully you don't lose yourself again chasing that dopamine that your future success gives you.

She pointed that her issue is that her friends are screwed up... and also when pressed by Daniel to take on responsibility...she said "The energy you send you is what you attract" and the problem is self-betrayal. I think she failed to see that there must be a good reason why EVERYONE around her hate her enough to want to put her in jail. That perhaps, she has not been a kind and considerate person or boss... or she has put others through enough hardship for the resentment to be that thick for that revenge to be that reckless. Maybe it's just me but I feel she's still not getting something.
