Yeah I don't think Stallone brings any ownership provenance to the grand chime since you can't even say he wore it. It was simply an investment portfolio watch. Might as well remove the nameplate on the box. Maybe the fact its still in the seal balances out the value.

Stallone's Patek Grand Master Chime hammered at $5.4 million and the Sterns got very upset. It was Stallones watch and what he does with his watch should be his business, period. Such a fantastic watch by the way. Great job Adam.😊

I believe he was well aware of that happening. He said in one interview he no longer was no longer interested in collecting Patek's and more into Rolexes. If true or not, who knows. He's been selling a lot of stuff, houses and memorabilia. He ain't buying expensive stuff these days. Question is only is it by choice (aging) or financial problems (rumors of the reason he almost divorced).

Thought he rushed the auction a bit on the GMC

It was sped up for the video. The actual lot took several minutes, whereas the average in all auctions but Phillips is 1 min per lot

Hopefully, Patek will stop allocating high-end pieces to celebrities and actors after this type of nasty situation. Embarrassing . . . 💚 JMB

Sylvester Stallone done messed up. He is so banned from entering any Patek Philippe boutique on this planet. He won’t even be able to buy a strap! All that time and effort in applying and waiting a few years just to take delivery. Waste of time for Patek Philippe on man hours of design, build, assembly, and hand decorating this timepiece. Mr Stern is pissed and stated his displeasure with Stallone
