they are fucking amazing. this is brilliant. She is genuinely lovely to watch and he kills it. My mind is blown. They fucking rock. It makes me happy and want to dance.... he sings so perfectly with her. Super stoked to be a fan!

late in the the game. Probably commented a while ago but it you still hold strong. Having my personal rave right now after my husband turned 61 and went to bed. You make me feel OK to be Late 50's and not long for bad 80's songs> :)

Had no idea the guy in this band was so charismatic. He seems completely at home at a radio station ... rather impressive.

Oh man they had no idea how great they'd become. And by God were they good when they recorded this.

Her seemingly effortless style is intoxicating. Such an organic connection to stark electronic beats. A septum piercing doesn't hurt either.

"effortless" yeah, that word. I want to know what she hears in her own head. She is so rhythmically amazing. No matter what poly-rhythm (or stranger thing) that is looping under her, she stays so locked to the one.

i love these guys. i remember seeing them when all they had out was like hey mami and play it right and he was trying to use a pos laptop that ended up craping out em and they still managed to bring the whole crowd to love them. plus i was lucky enough to have a brief convo w them afterwards and they were really chill too which is always a great bonus for a band lol

What an incredibly cute couple as band mates! Their vibe together is incredible, and you know that this friendship is why the group and the music is so successful.

I love Amelia Meath's voice so much, and i'm in-love with Nick Sanborn's voice for completely different reasons. They both are just incredible.

Electric music with a dash of folk and soul. Brilliant

i've never heard of this band before but this video is a gem. they remind me of tune-yards (who also have a great kexp performance)

Coffee is such a brilliant song. I understand a little more about their creative genius on Coffee, after hearing him talk about organizing the VHS tapes. Still yet, I have heard people say that her voice sounds the same as other singer and I would challenge those people to elaborate who she supposedly sounds like and then we can do some comparisons. Her voice is unlike anyone else I have ever heard and I have listened to the wides range of music from "Joy Division" to Beyonce in my lifetime.

Andrew H.B. Funny how that sort of thing works. My mind hears it so clearly. 10:47-11:03, for instance. Doesn't diminish my enjoyment one iota, though. As others said, she's also intoxicating to watch, so languid yet engaged and positive. Their chemistry is great, and both seem like wonderful people.
