That’s awesome @Fukui tfe ! Do you get to surfskate in Tokyo? I brought my longboard when I did a job training in fashion design in Osaka back in 2004, cruising down the streets of Japan was a blast. I remember Tokyo was a little more crowded though 😅 do you still get to take your skate in the street sometimes?

The ground looks so smooth there! The freeze-thaw cycle in Canada means smooth surfaces are only there the year they go in.

Great to watch this relaxing video! Is there any technical reason to use Carver C2 to pair with Grasp front truck? The bushing seat of the Grasp rear truck (the pivot/turning point) is designed to be high from the ground, closer to the board to create the divey/surfy feeling. Does using Carver C2 change that feeling. I'm interested to know more. Thanks!

Honestly no technical reason. I just wanted to put different brands on the setup. The Grasp back truck works just as well 👍🤙

If you are interested, please review Station triple S surfskate truck, which has a very wide range of motion like Grasp.

hey Shane! I wanted to ask something about wheels. I have 3 YOWs (waikiki, Christenson X and Kontiki). The 3 of them have the YOW 76A wheels, so very soft wheels but in the city where I skate most of the walking streets are very slippery and it is easy to fall when losing grip. Do you know how what I could change to gain more grip on those streets? (even softer wheels? Thanks

Hey Pablo! I never knew YOW had 76a wheels ? 🤔 Unfortunately I am not aware of any wheels below 77a. I might recommend the orangatang 4president. They are 70mm. 53mm contact. 77a
