I was really disapointed they changed the music! We had a beautiful rendition of your the voice with aboriginal language, recognising the culture of our country and all they are sending to the world is this!

I love Your the Voice being reclaimed like that & taken back from the protestors & to me, the fact that government funded fireworks, on a government funded tv channel would play that, says a lot about who we are as a people & that we're going to use our voices to fight the virus & the fear of the virus, rather than the irrational fears of global conspiracies. I thought it was perfect, especially with the Aboriginal version as well & combining that with our new National Anthem that now says we are ONE not young. Really inspirational start to 2021 imo I loved the "thank you", in fact the whole thing, started with "live baby live", then "love baby love", then "I don't wanna wait until the weekend" (while we switch to a more flexible working structure permanently & construction workers push for a 9 day working fortnight, with a long weekend every fortnight, so no more waiting lol), then "thank you" along with those words on the pylon, just a shame the front line workers couldn't be there for that, then the party of "music in me", then "everybody rise", which it feels like we all have to beet covid, then it's "tomorrow may never come", "what about me" & then we're all the voice, was just a perfect soundtrack to end the year & usher in a new year of hope & prosperity & a "new normal" that will really be about us caring for us & being a unified community, a better world than the pre-covid one, not a restriction laden one. Now sure, New Year resolutions always break as the year goes on, but to me it was a great message of what we can be combined with looking back at the past year & maybe I saw more than was really there, I don't know, but I still loved it. It was Light It Up by Theo Chinara If you download Shazam, you can identify songs. That’s how I did it.

All of us would be HOPING that in new year 2021 we will be FREE from painful experience of Corona. But however, there are other living beings who are continuously suffering quietly and about whom we NEVER THINK and bother ie. ANIMALS.... Kindly LOOK into the EYES OF SUFFERING ANIMALS.... You will clearly see the sadness and pain in their eyes.These silent living beings are suffering so much but STILL we humans never care. They are put in enclosures so SMALL that they can't even MOVE.They are chained and caged for LIFE. They die of desease, extreme cold, hunger and thirst. They are killed BRUTALLY for meat.They are used for MEDICAL experiments. They are ABANDONED on roads to die by pet owners. They are not given food and water. Every time they are treated cruelly by humans for no reason. Humans are angry with humans but they vent out their anger on innocent animals. Animals suffer so much due to humans. But they never complain. So then WHY are humans so cruel to them????!!!! ANIMALS would also be EXPECTING AND HOPING every MOMENT that one day humans will treat them KINDLY. They will someday get freedom from chains and cages. People will feed them and take care of them when they fall ill. But their expectation is broken every moment.... HUMANS NEVER UNDERSTAND their pain. If HUMANS WERE CHAINED and PUT in CAGES similarly for LIFE, BRUTALLY KILLED for meat, treated barbarically by other humans, abandoned, left to die of desease and hunger in extreme weather conditions, how would HUMANS FEEL? Why cant humans understand how animals would be feeling when THEIR EXPECTATIONS are broken every time? IF WE STILL CANNOT UNDERSTAND their pain and be kind to them then HOW we think ourselves worthy of being treated kindly? If humans cannot be kind to animals, who are so pure and innocent, who never hate and don't have any ego, then how can humans expect same kindness from others? SO JUST THINK..... MAY BE THEN YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY GO THROUGH EVERY MOMENT WHICH HUMANS WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO FACE EVEN FOR A MOMENT. SO PL MAKE A RESOLUTION THIS YEAR THAT YOU WILL HAVE A CHANGE OF HEART FOR THEM. PL HELP ATLEAST ONE ANIMAL THIS YEAR....KINDLY ALSO PL DO NOT HARM THEM IN ANYWAY.....If possible then please RAISE YOUR VOICE against animal cruelty in social media and in your locality....YOU WILL SURELY FEEL GREAT.....HAPPY NEW YEAR ONCE AGAIN. Shame the music sounds like tripleJ music. Not one iconic song from the year or years gone. All for new music but let’s have something for everyone to celebrate. Last year was bad too, why not have some of Kylies new album?

As usual now the ABC's live? presentation of NYE2020 was as dull as dishwater. sound production was crap, a lot of below par talent (if thats what you call it). Presenters were up to the usual low standard the ABC insists on. Yes folks if you want C grade entertainment tune into the ABC.

There is probably no logic behind the strange behavior of the Australian government, and it is simply stupid.

No one's there, could have made a computer generated show. Waste of money we don't have
