What are you trying to do to me Curry? Huh? I've seen these scenes too many times to mention but I still catch something I didn't see before. Your music choice shifted something in how I perceive them. They're even MORE in love. How can that be? I swear when Carmy & Sydney meet...his eyes... it's love at first sight. So wonderful and beautiful. Keep it coming.

Thank you for your wonderful words, as usual! And yes, it is understated but I do believe Carmy unwittingly fell in love with Syd at first sight, but he is slowly coming to that realization for himself consciously. Someone on Tumblr shared this quote and linked it to Carmy's reaction to Syd in their first meeting, and I do find it so apt: "Colpo di fulmine. The thunderbolt, as Italians call it.
