I started watching 200X in 2021, and I love it more and more, I’m enjoying it one episode at a time, and last week reached the beginning of the Snakemen sub series. The background scenes are such amazingly beautiful paintings, I didn’t except it from a series made in the early 2000’s. I grew up as a young kid with the original MOTU cartoon, which I love too.

@@user-ud1pz3kf6h I can fully imagine a MOTU 200X Season 3 that would have featured She-Ra, that would have been such a perfect transition from the ‘VS The Snakemen’ segment of the series! …With the Horde of course! My two favorite factions, Snakes & Monsters. It’s really too bad they didn’t get to doing it…But I know it was a hard time for Mattel to bring a wave of popularity needed to pursue the 200X series beyond two seasons, in that period of the early 2000’s, unlike in the 1980’s.

200x sy-klone was not inspired by Japan but inspired by angkor wat from Cambodia.... You have the photo of angkor wat correctly. And I wish that you would correct that. This redition of sy-klone is my favorite. And disrespectful that you would refer to him and japanese inspired

This is interesting to me because even though I’ve known about Angkor Wat in Cambodia and have seen several fascinating documentaries and books about over time; my brother visited it as well years ago, But I was always under the impression that 200x Sy-Clone’s armor & helmet were loosely inspired by traditional Japanese armor (Samurai). Upon reading your comment I decided to do an image Google search for: ‘Cambodian traditional armor’ and I saw several images showcasing helmets that look very similar in form to Sy-Clone’s helmet. The side ‘wings’ on the helmet were particularly synonymous with some higher level of craftsmanship Khmer warrior helmets. I never thought of looking before, I’m glad to know now because I love knowing about the I inspiration that went behind characters, in sci-fi and fantasy.

MV keep coming up with great subjects but lately, all too often, the narration is poorly delivered. I hate being negative but it's important to say.
