I really like your intro!!!!! :) we have some rutty roads like this above Sumpter here - can't put the peddle to the meddle here can you? darn :( some pretty deep ruts here - didn't seem like you had too many issues with the height on this road - love the views up high on the road - the smoke was really bad over here too - couldn't see the sky for a few weeks....but all better now. I like your gopro setup on your machine! :) good ride, thanks for taking us along!

Lot of clearance on these bigger machines, make difficult sections pretty easy. Haven't been to the Sumpter area since I was a kid, heard there's some good riding up that way though! Thanks for watching!

We had 1/4 mile visibility for the last several days. Wish I was there. (Eastern Washington)

It's horrible everywhere it seems. The Boise area has been red flag about a week now.

I have the KM3 on my Talon and they are garbage in the snow in my opinion. I was looking at the 32” ITP Blackwaters for fall/winter riding

Thanks for the input! Not enough lug spacing or too stiff of a tire?

McCurdy Outdoors the lugs need more gap. They were better than the tusk terra bites in the snow but not by much. Great tire for hard pack or gravel.

Why do you use the "Phone" app GPS vs the one in the dash? Thanks

I use different maps that have a lot more information than what Ride Command provides. Ride command in my area only covers maybe 50% of the trails, where the maps I use show them all. I also like how versatile my phone is for camping, hunting, and fishing trips. The biggest reason I use a phone is after a ride I can connect it to my PC and upload the GPX file and share it with my Patreon members. Seems much easier than downloading it off the machine to me. It's all personal preference really. This is the video I made on it if you're interested in running a similar setup kzread.info/dash/bejne/dICrsLKpf8XXfNY.html
