We don't need no stupid bad scenes in this game for dlc we want more story and more outfits for our customized character just like the last game to the truth I rather play sword art online aliczation lycoris at least they give 2 good dlc sword art online last recollection is a scam game of 2023 the last game is better sword art online aliczation lycoris is better

It’s such a shame this game had such a lackluster dlc but overall I did enjoy the game even if the bosses were damage sponges that took a while to kill

I was hoping that Yuuki at least would point out the marriage context of this ritual.

I was excited for Rain bed scene and story conversation along with Leafa, Kureha personal bed scene and personal story conversation. That sad to hear Rain story and bed scene does not have more effect and personal. That is sad that all the story and bed scene are the same and has no big to middle changes for the personal conversation of the female heroes.

Not only were the bedscenes very low quality when compared to the previous bed scenes, some characters were also left out and didn't get their own bedscenes. (Well, I guess we got the "most important ones", but still) I couldn't even bring myself to finish the 2nd DLC due to my massive feelings of disappointment. Unlike in the previous content dlcs, we didn't get a new map(I don't mean a single dungeon, but an actual zone where you can bring your whole party, with dungeons, chests and different bosses.), new interesting bosses that you'd have a reason to kill, or an area that we would actually have a reason to revisit, be that for chests or loot drops. Aside that, I really enjoyed the base game. The story was great, the battle-system was fun, enemies were balanced, somewhat, and the side-content, aside from these dlcs, were fun to clear. ( Just disappointed that you can kill 90% of enemies by just spamming square, probably the worst thing about the fighting. )

I will always remember Last Recollection with its incredible main campaign experience with great characterization and little filler, properly focusing on its narrative unlike most other SAO games. The rest, sadly is mostly forgettable.

I like the dlc I got what I pay for i like the beautiful bedtime scene my favorite is Kureha and rain I get to married them

If bed scenes are just fanservice and eye candy then I might've liked them much if they hadn't toned down the nightgowns so much with ever newer entey. Seriously, compare some of those scenes with the ones on Hollow Realization and it's night and day.

Hard agree. DLC was very, very underwhelming with the same reskinned dungeon about 20 times, I think? Very lackluster overall compared to previous games. I understand if Aquira just wanted to get it out quick and be done with SAO, but come on. I admit, Kureha and Zeliska’s scenes where they tell the OC what kind of person they were was kinda weird, especially when even in FB, the OC was just a brick wall, but I like to make up my own headcanons for it 😁 Also, one more thing, I’m not sure if this was just me, but did it annoy anyone else that with the dialogue, they had to add in a fade in and out of Kirito and then whatever partner he had, **every damn time they spoke?** That was hella annoying, why didn’t they just have both characters dialogue sprites on there at once? Anyway. Thanks for the update vid. I wasn’t expecting much out of the DLC but damn this one really didnt live up to the standards of previous entries.

Ahahahah yeah, the fade in and outs were thoroughly annoying, but I think I had bigger issues to talk about so I failed to mention it in both DLC1 and 2 reviews xD The fade is there in the main game as well, it's their default transition when they switch character sprites on screen, but it's rarely noticeable in the main game due to screen allowing multiple character sprites. But it becomes extremely noticeable in these DLCs, due to them only allowing a single sprite on screen at a time, so in a dialogue, it's constant fades in and out.

Yeah. Thats what it was. Last Recollection has probably the most phenomenal story of the Gameverse, I just wish Aquira didn’t fall off near the last few stretches of the game, mainly just with the DLCs. XD

I hope for a Sao game with strong budget and open world mechanics and nice gameplay good story in Aincrad after Fractured Daydream

Only good thing was Eugeo being the true Wife! But the most irritating thing for me was the hair pin floating it was soo annoying and the fact they didn't even re colour the dresses.

It's a shame to see the DLC's going so poorly, but I shouldn't be too surprised. Granted I haven't played LR yet but having played a great deal of AL to just shy of a platinum trophy, I've always been a bit worried. I'm just hoping when I eventually get the game far in the future that it'll be...somewhat enjoyable. Least I don't have that worry with FD(knock on wood). As for the FB OC, I can understand them putting off a poor impression and to be fair it wasn't done all that well. I still would like an actual custom character and be a part of the world rather than being just Kirito personally since it would be more fun to hang out with him and everyone else than be him, it would just have to be done in a way that's closer to Mass Effect rather than...the boring mute with no real personality. It's a dream even if it's one that'll probably never happen sadly. Integral Factor feels somewhat close to that vision in that regard.

Did one of the bed scenes in the first ritual of the bonds dlc and then never touched the others. Looks like I didn’t miss much then and I didn’t miss anything in this dlc. Glad I didn’t waste my time on it but on the other hand. I wasted 20 bucks on this shit dlc and I wish I could get my money back for it.

Yes i agree that dlc sao LR is bad. Unlike fatal bullet or other. The conversation is plain and boring not much flirt between kirito and heroines

From what was said before, there wouldn't be bed scenes in the main game to begin with. Pretty sure these were asked to be put into the game since many people want the fanservice (Kind of why it's so weird with the FB characters 😕). Don't get me wrong, some of them were cute (Yuuki is always the soft spot for me; it kind of brings that pseudo-sibling relationship we get a glimpse of… from FB, of all things in its dialogue), but since it wasn't a part of the original game… the bed scenes are all just there for fanservice, which overall adds nothing to the overall story of this game

That is more or less the double edged sword, isn't it. You have it as an addition, and half the players complain it should have been part of the game. You put it in the game and half the players complain they did not want it in the first place due to undertones. But let's be real, the real breaking point is that the Bed Scenes are paid, and the 95% of it is Dungeon Padding, only to justify it being paid. It's a chain of backwards decisions that led to this. We need to make it outside of the main game? DLC it is! Then it can't be just 10 minutes for each character, a DLC needs some gameplay and some story. Pad it all up to a 10 hour experience! Oh right, we need a story to fill that padding. Just come up with the most generic filler plot with generic filler dialogue! One decision prompts the next and what ended up was this sadly.

I always said: why did they make the bed scenes as DLC if they have always been part of the base game? This was very unlikely, in the end I ended up buying the dlc h plus this two just to see my Waifu... anyway... Thank God it's over and the Gameverse is closed... and it's hard to go with another Sao game. I think that after this there will not be another one for me... it's just my point of view

Yeah, I hear the "Gameverse fatigue" from a lot of people lately. But honestly, that's one of the reasons I am really looking forward to Fractured Daydream. A fresh game, basing itself on the post-Alicization main canon, with a huge focus on (multiplayer) gameplay!

but in general terms Last Recollection had its positive things for me... the good performance on PC and the story was not that bad... it was good although a little short... and the epilogue... well, very few endings make me get more out of it. a tear

@@Gamerturk I'd prefer a different take of an SAO game series that diverged from the main series more than a standalone non-canon game. The latter should be for mobile and PC games.

I'm just upset at how little costumes there are in this game compared to last recollection xD it's a shame because the models are super pretty

Yeah, a lot of people were really hoping we'd get additional outfits at some point, but this was it :/

Don't worry this seriers is supposed to be a disappointment since it's just reused materials. Good thing I didn't touch the game.

I very much disagree with that. Last Recollection had the best main campaign experience in the entire SAO Gameverse, with little filler and great characterization for its cast. It's just a shame that everything beyond that, seems to be done with the mindset of "let's just finish this and wrap it all up".
