Do it, four years ago I never I thought I would leave the uk on my bike, now every year we are visiting somewhere new

Bit late to the party with your channel but this has inspired me. Never thought of Switzerland for a tour, now thinking it's a must do in '25.

It’s great, expensive but breath taking

I asked in a past episode which of the 3 passes was the best. The answer given was Susten..., was that the common opinion? This is my prefered one, the Furka. It's because of the rawness of the nature, and sheer unending amount of just sky and rock with that wiggly road winding around, where everthing on it seems the size of baby ants. I feel the same, riding up is easier, and more enjoyable. That is also the reason that it was important for me to ride them back the other way (at a later date). Although I live in this beautiful country, I have so enjoyed watching this series, cos I can concentrate more on the scenery left and right, instead of having to not forget the road. So, thanks for filming and uploading this channel. Swiss greets, Steve.

I found I needed to concentrate less on the road on the Susten and could take in the surroundings more, think that’s why I preferred it.

Been a few years since Iv done those passes now 😊

Another fantastic video them views are spectacular must be something special to ride there

You have done it opposite way round to what I've done in the past .There's a tunnel inbetween grimsel and susten (I think) can catch you out go in from sunlight into dark then it turns sharp right .Wasn't lit last time I went 2011 and tunnels can be wet nearly ended up on wrong side of the road luckily nothing coming opposite way .

Spectacular views but i don't know if i could ride down that road being frightened of heights,i'd have to get down faster than shit through a goose and on the wrong side of the road.

😂😂😂 concentrating on the road made us miss a lot of the views

Having ridden these passes the last two years I find the Furka is the poorest one to ride. Too many patches of bad road surface and the way the road regularly narrrows on blind corners make it much harder work. Rode the Furka 3 times last year but only once this year. Had to miss out the Susten this year as it was still closed early June. A good side trip is up the Oberalps pass after the Furka but before the Susten. Always rode the passes in the opposite direction to the way you were going.

My favourite was the Susten, I found it allowed you to take in views more as found I didn’t need to concentrate on the road as much.

Top stuff fella's,editing first rate Mav, those bends where a tad sharp lol,btw is the Drone Master on comms,as i have'nt heard him ??? Ride Safe Mr B \m/
