Grown up and worked in the Netherlands the first 34 years of my life. Did a lot of hiking in my younger years in Switzerland and felt in love with mountains, the culture and .. a Swiss lady. And living now since 20 years happely in Switzerland.

It can be stressful because we are hardworking people and punctuality is very important here. But apart from that we have a very good life here. Its peaceful, safe, the quality of everything is very high and the nature is just amazing. Its a gods gift. My brother and i go skiing every winter, hiking in the mountains every summer, bathing in the rivers and lakes, hanging out and making bbq with friends at the lakes, climbing mountains etc. There is good and bad in every place, also in switzerland, but its really a good life here and we should appreciate it every day. So many people live in worse conditions and just want to have a happy life.

In Switzerland I was fascinated by that deep blue sky. Every field looks like a golf course. It's impossible to find an uncut patch of grass in the German part.
