I've never visited Russia, but when I do, I know my goal is to visit remote wilderness, not the main cities. Siberia is wonderful.

I think most people imagine Siberia as a frozen land but in reality it offers so much more. It has mountains comparable to the Alps, the world’s largest lake, and the volcanic peninsula of Kamchatka which is like a more wild version of Iceland. Siberia truly is a special land ⛰🌋 also don’t forget the wildlife such as the Siberian tiger, Kamchatka bear and Amur leopard. Such incredible animals 🐻🐯🐆

The world's largest lake is Caspian Sea and it's not in Siberia. Lake Baikal is the deepest lake in the world. But totally I agree with you, this area is very beautiful.

As a Swiss myself, I have to say that russian nature is so underestimated compared to Switzerland, for example. The nature they have is many times more beautiful than here in Switzerland and the remoteness is perfect. I hope to go to Siberia myself one day.

Well, as i Siberian i can say that most places in the video are located in a very remote areas, but in Switzerland you have cities and villages among mountains and you have far more opportunities too see all that beauty of a nature almost every day.

The altai mountains remind me of Switzerland with its mountains. Also Kamchatka reminds me of Iceland but more wild and remote 🐻🌋🏔

Born in USSR, have lived in Germany for 22 years and can definitely say that the ratio between documentaries about Russia and the USA in Europe is 1 to 10 or more. Everyone should see the beauty of this country to understand why he haven't heard of it before!

Похоже, вы, уважаемый, застряли в 90-ых )))) А Украины вашей больше никогда в прежних границах не будет. Народ оттуда миллионами бежит во всех направлениях.

Knowing what I missed I now would love to see the Altai and Caucasus of Russia, the Pontics on the southern shore of the Black Sea, near Trabzon, the Western Ghats of India, the Iranian Zagros, the Moroccan Atlas, the Pyrenees, the Balkans, the Laurentians of Quebec, the Argentine Andes next to Patagonia and Venezuela's Tepuies.

Родился в Новоалтайске (Алтайский край, всем землякам пламенный привет), прожил там 8 лет и уехал с родителями жить в Адлер (Сочи, сейчас мне уже 18 лет), что на моей Родине, что тут невероятно красиво. Помню из далёкого детства, что мы с родителями ездили отдыхать в Горный Алтай... Неописуемая красотища... И в Адлере тоже... Правда в Сочи быстро привыкаешь к тому, каждый день выходя из дома, видишь горы. Но, Алтай и мою родную Сибирь, мне незаменит ничто! Как же это чертовски красиво, видеть свою родину...

Lot of hidden gems place like cave, paddy fields, Cameron Highlands that many people didn't know in my country, and the famous Mount Kinabalu, Borneon Island, and European-like scenery in Kundasang. I can't remember watching a one hour video with no speech all the way through, but my God, Siberia is an amazing beautiful wonderland. My perception of Siberia was so wrong.

Thanks for the video, I moved to Altai Republic 3 years ago from the Netherlands and have never regretted one second. We organize trips deep into the mountains, and enjoy showing the beautiful landscapes to people that are interested in nature and culture. Your video makes me want to travel to the other regions, Chukotka, Putorana plateau, Yaktusk etc.....

I notice how more and more people go to Russia, but mostly to less populated cities, closer to nature (farmers, etc.). I am from Russia (originally from the Siberian taiga, now I live in Moscow) I was in the Netherlands for work, what a beautiful architecture, I fell in love with how you love beautiful doors in the house, every door is beautiful .. Perhaps this is what I remember most)). And nature, unfortunately, is very sad and boring .. I sincerely and sincerely wish you to meet wonderful people in Russia and feel solitude in our country, there are very good people in Siberia .. Letztes Jahr haben wir in Innsbruck Urlaub gemacht. Natürlich habe ich Fotos von den Bergen gepostet. Meine Freunde aus dem kasachischen Altai waren überrascht, warum ich niemandem erzählte, dass ich ( ich lebe seit 25 jhare in Deutscjland)in meine kleine Heimat gekommen war😂. Sooo ähnlich! Das Altai-Gebirge erstreckt sich über vier Länder: Russland, Kasachstan, die Mongolei und China.

I love older american classic cars, and some years ago I bought a 1970 Mercury Cougar Convertible in California. - Beautiful to cruise around with the top down, playing Pink Floyd on the stereo and enjoy the ride on the roads into the Norwegian fjords. - This is what I call freedom : )

Dreams come true

Watching this I am about to cry. The magnificence, the absolute breathtaking beauty. This world God has made for us and gave us, our birthright until Adam and Eve sinned and it was taken from us. But we will win our birthright back! Siberia yes is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and there are so many. Thank you for sharing this paradise with me. One I will probably never see in person but am thankful I can see it here! All the colors of the water, the sunlight shining down on the forest in orange hues, the mountains, the trees, the snow, the sunrises and sunsets, the magnificent animals…all so beyond words. My spirit is soaring. And to think God is going to cleanse the world by fire and make it new?! I know He will and can but I can’t imagine it being better than this, than it is already in so many places in the world. Thank you Father!

Я даже представить не могу что может быть красивее. Наша общая задача как людей, сохранить эти места такими как их создала природа. Пока что Россия с этим справляется, не знаю что будет в будущем и какие перемены нас ждут, но я надеюсь, что эти места никогда не будут заселены городами.
