    Very nice switching layout. I like the way you run at scale speeds. That makes it so much more realistic. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

    Just discovered your channel and have subscribed. I love the way you run switching ops with nice and slow moving equipment. In particular, I admire the fact that you strive to couple without nudging the car or cut that you're coupling onto. I also think it's cool that you seem to off set your couplers, in the clear, when preparing to shove into a siding. This allows the train to reverse and pull out with out having to uncouple in more congested areas. Thank you.

    Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate the fact that you noticed that kind of detail in my "performance" and that the way I operate was enjoyed. I obsess a little with locomotive performance and while one of those models has since been decommissioned, its replacement has been tweaked to run just as slowly. To more switching ops!

    Nice session! Shows "easy" moves still need their time and can be very enjoyable still.

    No, no. Shunting works. I’m heavily inspired by UK modellers. And I love the correlation with that great book. Thanks for the feedback!

    what manufacture made those locomotives? the brake squeal is amazing!

  • @SouthDown

    @SouthDown

    2 жыл бұрын

    Thank you for your feedback! The RS18 is a Rapido model, with the break functions tweaked and enabled. Only works when you drop to full stop from at least speed step 4 of 28. The other is an Athearn Genesis GP9 shell running on a GP7 chassis, which accidentally upgraded the decoder to Tsunami2. I tweaked the brakes so that if you drop four steps at a time the brakes kick in. Love the sound and the hiss.
