I just bought it. I have the same thumb turn at 5:56 . Is there a way around it or should I just return it ?

Does it come with auto unlock when u came back home? Similar to what august smart lock provides?

Did you try exposing it to a strong magnet or racking/bypassing the backup cylinder? I'd fully expect something as dumb as this to work on a smart lock.

Just did with mine and I got nothing. I’m sure it has a fatal flaw but I haven’t found it yet.
