    I'm glad you found it useful. A nice upgrade you can get for it, if you look on my channel I did a review on a 30 watt foldable solar panel. Once I found the correct cable to use with a solar panel it charges this battery Bank really fast. I now use this battery bank and that foldable solar panel to charge my phone. It might be worth investing in for the next power outage. Thanks for the comment and views.

    @JoeyMatthew-rt6cj The exact one I got I cant find on walmarts website. But I found the same brand and specs so I will put a link to it below. But you can find similar cables on amazon you just need to be sure it can handle the wattage. So, 30 watts or more USB C to USb C charging cable. hope this helps you out. www.walmart.com/ip/Belkin-Boostcharge-Braided-USB-C-to-USB-C-Cable-5ft-W-Strap-Cable-for-Samsung-Galaxy-Samsung-Note-Pixel-iPad-Pro-and-More-Black/993601037?fulfillmentIntent=In-store&athbdg=L1600&from=/search

    The solar part works, BUT it is extremely slow. we are talking 3 days in the sun and you may see 2% increase in battery capacity. As I said in the review the solar panel is a bit of a gimmick. These small panels are very low wattage. If you want a battery bank to charge your phone or whatever look at the capacity of the battery or any other features it may have. For instance this one has a built in flashlight that could be handy, But not everyone wants a flashlight. I have found this one to be useful for me and my uses. I recently got a 30watt folding solar panel that I use to charge this Battey bank with. But that adds more cost. Most people I know keep battery banks like this charged up by plugging them into their car while driving. At the end of the day you are the best judge if this is the one you want or not. Here is a link to the folding solar panel if your interested. kzread.info/dash/bejne/loefupRviangc8o.html

    Agreed, it functions as advertised and the price is reasonable, it is a go. Beautiful Bride had no working power bank available in the early days of setting up our family business. Two cell phones were not enough to make it through the day and she asked to carry the new Samsung unit she had purchased for me to stay in contact. Sadly, after a few days, my cell phone slipped out of her bag as she got off a jeepney and she could not catch up with the vehicle as it steamed off down the road. It would have been less painful if we lost an inexpensive power bank. We laugh about it today. We do have at least one phone in the family inventory that can use the wireless charging feature but that is not a requirement. I think the unit without the wireless charging feature and without the solar panel could be sold for less money and would be perfect for our needs. As offered and for the price, I would say get one or more. Now, off to see if I can find a local offering from the factory that manufactured this power bank. Thank you Charles for the heads-up on the product. Stay safe.

    So basically it doesn't work well to charge through solar charge right? I just bought 1 and skeptical. If it only charges through a cord then it's useless in a sense. Is that correct?

  • @charlesartificer2158

    @charlesartificer2158

    6 ай бұрын

    Yes in a sense, the solar charging is a gimmick. Look on my channel, I reviewed a portable solar panel and used it to charge this battery bank. The panel is easily 10 times bigger than this when folded out and works great. So if you want real solar charging capability this is not it. With that said I do like it as just a battery bank.

  • @wolfproducts

    Would you suggest this would be a great replacement for a Blackweb battery charger? I've had my two battery chargers for 6 years, and their charges have been downgrading, from charging my phone 4.5 times to 2 times now.

    I don't have nor have ever used a blackweb charger so it is hard for me to compare it to this. I can say this with confidence. It is a cheap power bank that works. The solar panel is more gimmick than functional. I'm sure it provides some power, just not much that it matters. So take all that into consideration. What made it appealing to me was the price, availability and battery capacity. Hope this helps answer your question.

  • @wolfproducts

    @wolfproducts

    @charlesartificer2158 I agree about the solar panel. I simply want another durable battery charger. The two Blackwebs batteries I own, they've been dropped so many times and can still charge my phone and other devices. I would like to buy something similar to that.

  • @charlesartificer2158

    @charlesartificer2158

    @@wolfproducts I haven't dropped my charger very many times or from any Great Heights. I primarily carry it with me to keep my phone charged up when I'm out and about. So take from that what you will about its durability. I've had it in my bag and been caught in the rain a couple times. So far no issue there. About all I can say is it's a cheap battery Bank, I wouldn't say it's durability is super tough. So what's you're dropping your stuff A lot of times you're clumsy or whatever you might want to consider something else. Cuz I can see dropping this the wrong way and that solar panel breaking and who-knows-what underneath if it's solid underneath or not. Sorry I can't offer any more info than that that's best I can do I've only owned it for a short period of time so far.

    No, after reading in the manual that you need to keep the bank cool, so the built in solar panel only provides a tiny trickle charge. probably would take weeks to see any kind of change from that little panel. What I found is very useful is a 30watt panel I reviewed on my channel. If you can get this panel on sale it's well worth the money. I am extremely disappointed with this charger. The functionality is severely lacking, and it is one of the worst purchases I have made. I once bought a cheap charger from a bin at Disneyland, and even that performed better than this product. The reviews on Walmart's website further validate my experience. Many of the positive reviews appear to be incentivized, while the negative reviews highlight numerous issues, such as the charger failing to charge, ceasing to work altogether, and the solar panel never functioning. The only reliable feature is the flashlight, which essentially makes this product nothing more than a flashlight since mine wont even charge anything anymore after very little use. also the MAH is a lie its only 11k MAH not 20,000 I am shocked there is not a lawsuit over this dumpster fire of a charger.

    Ahh Ok. Well maybe you can find a better one on amazon. I read a lot of reviews and watch a lot of videos before I purchase things. But with 95% of products made in china I always worry I will get a lemon. When I was a kid My teacher in electronics told my class a story. When He was a young man all the trash electronics came from Japan. Now all the trash comes from china. You see in his time it was after WWII and to rebuild Japan's economy the USA helped the Japanese Government to get their industry back up and running. All the stuff they made was for the US and Europe market. Cheap transistor radios and such. Fast forward to today some of the best electronics in the world come from Japan and all the cheap copy's are made in china. Now I'm not saying everything from china sucks. I have been surprised a few times. But I am saying a lot of it is made as cheaply and as fast as possible. Plus the quality control sucks at best. Sorry for the rant lol. Been a very long crazy day. Have a great night and good luck.
