    Not had an actual fight ie hitting someone for close to 30 years but I do watch your vids as a just incase. Always interesting .

    in old bareknuckle british boxing there was an "opposite hammer fist"swing to neck/throat or(risking broken thumb)to the chin.I have used it like a snap ,short uppercut to someone attemping a tackle on me.
