Im 66 yrs young. Been roping all my life. I can catch, but have always struggled to feel my tip. Thanks for the help. I always like your videos, they are the best.

Thanks for this. Like Kevin Brown said, I’m in my 20s wanting to get interested in roping, and don’t have anybody around me to show me the literal ropes. You’ve touched on mistakes that I think I’ve been making, and I can’t wait to give your tips a try and see how big a difference it makes. Thanks so much.

This was a good refresher. I always pointed my index finger.....for 30 years. I see what he is saying and will adjust my swing.

I'm a welder not a cowboy, but I have pitched a few ropes in my days. I have always thought of the difference in grip and delivery with roping as the difference between splitting wood with a maul and throwing a paper airplane. The maul will only do its work if you force it to. The paper airplane just needs you to set it out correctly and it will handle the rest. You need to consider the things design when deciding your influence upon it.

If you watch enough good ropers and try to imitate them and commit to 100 throws every day for 365 days, you’ll get it.

Same can be said about playing guitar, stay loose. If your strumming hand is all tense you can't strum for shit.
