Swimming With Cichlids - Tropheus sp. black - Mahale National Park

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

It was thrilling to see Tropheus sp. black in the Mahale National Park, here are two males continually circling each other, and a couple conspecifics watching. I have seen this exact behavior in my own groups of Tropheus at home. ❤️

What an amazing footage. The rocks just look like the Back To Nature « Tanganyika » background! 😆

The only Trop species that i like. Their black is intense and they are little bit smaller than other Trops.

@@PamChin100 thank you Pam, I keep asking these things. Thank you for your patience . I have no opportunity to acquire this knowledge otherwise. I am interested in a very good understanding of the spectrum of natural light in Lake Tanganyika at certain depths and the related growth of different varieties of algae.

Keep in mind, that I am not a diver, I am a swimmer, all of my pictures and videos are from me floating on the surface of the water. I don't need a flash this close to the water line, not to mention that I don't have a flash on my camera/GoPro. 😂 It really depends on the time of year as to how much algae you will see, it is always the thickest after the rainy season.
