SWFL Eagles ~ The Sweetest Thing Ever! E23 Just Wants To Be Close To Dad! See What M15 Does 3.30.24

Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Easter! ♥
E23 just finished eating a fish that Dad brought (that was the 5th fish delivery of the day and E23 ate very well and has a huge crop). E23 cute closeups and head tilts as E is looking at something. M15 is on the U branch just above E23. E23 will squee and start to go higher up the limbs to be closer to Dad. E23 inches closer and continues to squee and then nibbles on M15's shoulder feathers. M15 is not liking it and beaks at E23. E23 does more cute head tilts and nibbles - M15 starts to move away and goes up further on the tree limb. E23 is not detoured and continues to squee and do head tilts - M15 goes up further as E23 is now nibbling on his tail feathers. M15 says I am out of here and flies off the branch for the evening! E23 stays on the U branch for a while and we have some nice closeups! E23 will ultimately fly up to the east treetop branch and roost there for the evening! ♥♥ E23 just loves being next to Dad on the U branch but I think E was making a bit of a pest of itself! Dad can only take so much squeeing & nibbling! I don't think M15 is getting this kind of attention from F23!! 😂 Thank you for watching!

If I remember correctly, E20 did much of the same and used to perch next to dad and squee and squee , nibble at him too. Nothing M 15 hasn’t been through before. 😂

M15 was the funniest at this! She was telling M a long story about something! A couple of times M had to back away because she came so close to his ears! She continued to go on and on though! M finally decided he was done listening and flew off. She was the eaglet that stayed the longest.
There is something magical about M15. Another offspring that shows him it’s devotion. ❤️🦅❤️

E23 does not have a sibling eagle to play with or perch near so he is happy to spend time with Lady or M15 ❤
Surprised at how E23 seems the same size as Dad. Such a sweet moment between the two.
Because he is a SuperDad and his offspring knows better. We are lucky to get all these glimpses into their life's, for that we say Thanks to the Pritchett family . Happy Easter everyone

I didn't think with the loss of Harriet , M15s grief while parenting two and defending a newcomer would I imagine M15s Fledged baby hanging out for snuggles on the attic. The EAGLE is God's chosen due to the depths of Love , Honor Compassion and loyalty. It displays season after season ❤

I love how patient our eagle parents are. Whatever little E needs, he/she will get it until the time our little E decides it is enough ❤

Yes. The bond between all three is especially strong. You can tell E23 truly loves both parents and enjoys being with them.

M15 is loved by all his eaglets 😁 those that watched the season with E15 will remember that hilarious season, many were worried she wouldn’t go but M15 just gave her the support she needed until she was ready

E15 was a hoot...especially the day he/she perched as close to M15 as possible and squeed non-stop for about 15 minutes like a teenaged girl trying to talk Dad out of a designer handbag. 🤣

@@heartodixie7677 haha yeah! Maybe that’s what made me think of E15! I think that was my favourite eaglet, but I hate to pick favourites because I love them all 😆😅, I’m sure you know what I mean!
Not always easy being an "only child"...no one to pick on or play with.

M15 always seemed to be the one who always spoiled his kids. Maybe they know that their eaglets will be leaving soon. E23 is so beautiful. Kinda sad that his/her sibling didn't make it into the world. I'm sure he/she is flying high & free. Thanx Lady Hawk as always for sharing these moments with us. Happy Easter to you & everyone else. This E23 is so beautiful. I am convinced E’s a girl. She appears to be larger the M15. Just love these moments. This is my first ever fledge and am saddened to know it will end soon and they’ll be enemies if their paths cross in the future. Every eagle out for itself. Thank you LH for this privilege along with Prickett. I think that’s spelled right.
at the start, it looks like E23 was head tilting to "eat" the birds off the branches, but had no depth perception from monocular vision in doing so, lol.

I have been here almost 9 yrs!! Harriet always had more patience with the juvie! M15 can only take so much!! LH had a video of M moving over so E23 could be next to dad in U branch!! I was shocked!! It was beautiful!!!

I love the little white feathers growing on E23's wings ~ just like dad and I think mom has some too. They look like racing stripes! Could it be an inherited trait? I don't remember seeing those feathers on any of M15's other offspring, but maybe I missed it. In any case, E23 has grown into a real beauty who really enjoys spending time with both parents.

E23 has the same white feathers on his wing like E21 n E22 did. Just like their dad! I noticed this when their feathers started growing. It's his genes!❤

Watched this live , knew a video was coming to rewatch . Birds of a Feather…..flock together. M15 got an inspection. Also looked like a Teenager still wanting to hang out with dad . Lots yet to learn but nest will be empty soon . Hoping we get a few more weeks of non stressful teaching .

Thx for the adorable video LadyHawk.💖 Just a thought. Can this attention from the eaglet possibly mean something else? Of course these eaglet kids adore their moms & dads, I'm not taking away from that in any way. It was just a few days ago when kiddo made the exact same moves with mom. Started off with beakies, lowering the head ('respect/submission), then slowly moving the parent off the branch at the end of the day. Almost like they're telling the adult that they can go now and the kiddo can take over the shift now. I've seen this before elsewhere as well. It's even a little reminiscent of when a mate makes those soft moves & sounds to "urge" the other one to "move or leave"...such as during egg time duties. Something other than dropping a stick on their back!😂 So, this behavior is very possibly E23 practicing polite communication skills within relationships, no?🦅☎🦅💗
