Adam Franklin is a freaking genius. Seriously, what an amazing songwriter. Still in awe decades later.

@@herbertrichard614SD for me. I love Ride though too. I just saw them last year and are still amazing live. Ride is better vocally because Adam Franklin's voice isn't the best and is kind of shot at this point. Musically I think SD are better.

This song is a sonic paradise.

So important to still feel the same way about this band as I did 25 years. They still bring joy to my soul and it has nothing to do with nostalgia. Swervedriver will always write true original music and watching them live is always such a personal experience. Thank you for continuing this musical journey for us supporters to appreciate. #ThankYouSwervedriver

this band has never ever put out a bad song. this evokes Ejector Seat Res, as Jack Rabid noted in a recent review. lovely.

Perfection abounds in English language pop-Byrds, Beach Boys, Beatles. But Swerve or Ride?

This song gives me all the great fuzzy feels of Catherine Wheel at the top of their game. Not sure why I came so late to Swervedriver but glad I'm here now!

Still some of the sickest guitar tones in rock. Swervedriver just fucking rule

Hahah! Rick mentioned them in a live show a while back too. He didn't get some of the facts about swervedriver right. their first single was Son of mustang ford and he didn't even mention it! I hope he can get adam on his channel.

Best damned band on the planet.

Always felt this was the perfect grown up answer to "Girl On A Motorbike". I love this song so much. It's easily become "the" song I want to hear as I ride around the country and have time to think and the number one Swervedriver song lyric that gets planted in my brain.

This is quite brilliant! one of their best tunes in recent years.

Man, I've loved Swervedriver since the moment MTV's 120 Minutes debuted the Rave Down video back in the day. I'm filling in working 3rd shift tonight and I am loving this album so hard right now! Swervedriver foreverrrrrr!

Ryan Ponder saw them in Boston on that tour. Not sure if it was an off night but they were kind of shaky. Thankfully the Swervoes more than redeemed themselves headlining at Sonia in Cambridge Massachusetts this past October. Solid set, not a dud in the bunch, especially “The Birds!”

@@scott12xu I enjoyed Swervedriver's performances better during the I Wasn't Born to Lose You and Future Ruins tours. I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome Failure (not that familiar with them) was when Swervedriver opened for them.

That is some powerful stuff guys well done. Can't wait to see you tomorrow. Been wanting to do that since the 90's.
