New Album March 3.....there is a God!!!!

Grew up with this band throughout the 90s... glad to see that they never lost those beautiful melodies!

yep one of the best bands of the 90s hands down, Raise and Mezcal Head have been in heavy rotation from the days of cassettes then cds and now mp3s in my playlists since high school!

A new Swervedriver album in 2014? There is still hope for this world...

I bought Raise because I liked the album cover and have loved them ever since. Thank goodness I listened to my feelings. Thank you, Swervedriver.

The better version of this track. The one with the discordant effect is absolutely infuriating (rooted a cool piece of rock)...glad I found this version again :)

Since I first saw Swervedriver open for Smashing Pumpkins and hearing the Mezcal Head album live, you've been my favourite band. Awesome to see new stuff guys. Come back to Toronto soon.

If only the Moana Loosa could play drums like that! Saw the Swervies last night and you could feel the beats hit your chest all the way at the back of the club. He beatboxed my brain to bits.

This might be unappreciated, but I honestly feel as if the song does well in spite of the vocals rather than because of them. I LOVE Mezcal Head, it's probably in my Top 5 albums of all time. But I love it for its music, and was never a fan of Franklin's singing. Looks like nothing's changed. I love the music of this song, but I'm not a fan of the singing.

+Gurdit Singh Sachdeva What i dig about his singing maybe that it reminds me of the minutemen...like a Wittgensteinan zen koan nugget, not a treatise. I also appreciate how it maybe not over the top and loud and dominating as so many are apt to do, if anything it reminds me of a mellow Beck or J Mascis, though I can see why it might put you off, cause it maybe not making any demands of anyone to notice it. Also, if they changed it up, that would tick off a number of people possibly, it already works for many of us, so, but your comments maybe not negative.
