Thanks to the owner of this car wash for giving me a tour of this facility and giving us a free works wash!
Anyways, this roughly 120” Coleman Hanna tunnel is the newest Sweetwater location, which opened back in February. It features a Rotary Top Brush, 2 sets of 28” Hub Cap Rocker Brushes, a Stack-N-Scrub combo module, an HFTM mitter, and a set of Side and Window brushes.
Despite most of the equipment being Hanna, the CTAs, Banana Foamers, and Foaminator II’s are from Mr. Foamer. Coleman Hanna HydraBlast units, Follower Wheel Washers, and a Water Wizard arch carry out the high pressure cleaning. The HydraBlast units are placed at the beginning right after the Mr. Foamer CTAs and HCRBs to blast wheels right before friction wheel cleaning (courtesy of the Coleman Hanna TW-96 underneath the Stack-N-Scrub module). Meanwhile, the WW arch and FWWs are used for high pressure rinsing in the middle of the tunnel. Each vehicle is manually prepped before entering the wash tunnel.
The chemicals in this tunnel are from Trans-Mate.
The wash shown in the video is “The Works Wash” which costed $30. However, in the video, some pay-wax arches didn’t activate. This is cause we didn’t buy any upgrades at the pay station, instead we got a free wash which didn’t include the pay-waxes. Sweetwater consistently provides excellent washing not only to our car, but even to the other cars I saw use the facility during my visit. The staff was very friendly as well.
Overall, do I think it’s worth the $30? Yes I do!
