Didn’t get a chance to address this before but gonna address and pin it now. There was not ONE moment I said I didn’t know who Jackie Chan was. I actually said his name at one point if you were listening. When I called him an “old man” I was speaking about Mr.Han. As I always tell you guys, I’m talking about the character NOT the actor.

Jayden Smith was actually a very good actor as a kid..
@patrickcromwell7554
25 күн бұрын
Okay-ish, maybe. Not "very good" by any means. He has ONE scene in this where he digs deep and gives a credible performance. And that is the scene where he yells at his mother for moving them to China. The pacing he does, the heavy frustrated breathing that's all very good and it's the ONE performance that's "very good." The rest is just typical "child acting."

I don't actually disagree with his potential; I think he DID have some. However recently I've been seeing some videos dissecting Will's parenting style and essentially calling it setting Jayden up for failure by NOT giving him experienced advice. It's one of the reasons Jayden has been seen doing too many things and never actually committing or following through. He HAD potential but no one took the responsibility of guiding that potential. They just let it fade away. At one point Will even made a "joke" about one of his movies that came out almost at the exact same time as his daughter's. What he had said was "Baby I love you; but Daddy's gonna have to crush you at the Box Office." And he DID. her movie went utterly unnoticed while his got ASLL the attention. So much so that I don't even remember the title of her movie. That's how little recognition her movie got. Can you imagine having an ego so inflated that you'd CHOOSE to release your own movie at the same time as your own child's and even make a tasteless joke in an interview about it?? That right there lit up a light bulb in my head, that maybe, just MAYBE Will wasn't quite the humble grounded human being his image presents. I mean we all see what becoming important did to The Rock. Man became highly trusted with DC and his influence had him SKIP the intro phase and totally REMOVE the connection of Black Adam's origin to Shazam and what happened?? His movie flopped HARD. it was a 25 foot belly flop. Watching that movie physically made me ill and mentally punished me. lol. I really DO hope Bad Boys; Ride or Die is good because his past is getting looked at and it's not painting the same picture as his PR team.

@@patrickcromwell7554 Actors don't choose when movies come out wealthy studio executives do. You got to realize Will Smith has been in blockbusters for decades and his daughter is just starting out. In no way was her movie even gonna be as big as his. For her movie to be remembered she would of had to had a memorable performance. Children of actors tend not to be as good because they don't have the need to try as hard they grew up rich.

Sometimes as a parent u have to make those difficult decisions for the better of the family. U cant "always" let the kids' emotions dictate adult choices. I mran look what happened to dre. He found a girl, a best friend, a love for kung fu, respect from his peers, and a father figure.

I've always loved the first fight scene in the alley with Mr. Han.. he not once hurts them or uses offensive moves, only deflective and defensive.. setting the educational mood of the story..
No. He's NOT cheating. The one who intentionally hurt Dre's leg "cheated." But NONE of the others are cheating. There's NO rule about knocking someone OUT of the ring. That's actually very good strategy if you can't win a point. It's on the other person to NOT get knocked out. I find it very strange how people will accuse the antagonist of cheating just because they are better than the protagonist. lol.

I don’t care what anybody says this is as good as the original. The only thing is that it should’ve been called kung Fu kid
There's an alternate ending where Mr. Han fought the bad teacher after seeing his students showing respect to Han. It wasn't necessary because the original ending is just the right way to end it.
at the end Dre did what the lady did with the snake
There's absolutely nothing wrong with crying! That just shows us viewers that you have a very big heart💯💯💯
Mr. Han is played by the Great Jackie Chan who is a legend in martial movies going back decades. He got his start as a stunt man in Chinese movies in China and he was even a stunt man in the greatest martial artist (GOAT) BRUCE LEE. There is not a person alive that has not heard of the great Bruce Lee!! Now a days Jackie Chan is a national hero in China!!!

Kung Fu is the hardest martial art to master. You have to start at about 4 years old and practice discipline. It is not a fighting sport, it was created to protect monks against aggressors and it can be brutal. In real life, it is used only for defense and not offense. Also, it was amazing how Hollywood special effects worked in this film! ☯
