Dr Eeselstyn is a walking example of his own dietary program. His brain has incredible recall for his age. He looks great. He is such a tremendous inspiration.

Hi J@@jgrysiak6566 I wouldn't make an entire salad or smoothie out of them anyway, would you? I put some in a salad or smoothie with lots of other greens in there just like when I add cilantro and arugula -- not the biggest fan of those strong flavors .. although I love kale now and didn't used to so maybe exposure more often would grow the apparent pleasantness of them just like the kale has grown on me

Great idea just to wilt the kale. I forgot about that. How much orange juice? Was the sweet potatoes already cooked? I can't imagine the orange juice would cook the sweet potato and without burning the bottom. Is the recipe in the book? I have that book so I'll look.

PLEASE ANSWER! Next time you see Dr Esselstyn can you please ask him if the 6 green veggies HAVE TO be boiled/ steamed? I am a schoolteacher and i Can only imagine eating this preferably raw or microwaved during work during intermittent breaks at work. Thank you for having the doctor here.

IMO, She must be using an 8 quart instant pot. Too many ingredients to fit in a six quart. I would cut recipe in half to use a 6 quart.

Do you have to use orange juice? I don’t want to use only the juice of oranges. I’d rather eat the oranges.

Make life more worth living, and maybe people will stop dragging themselves home from work, collapsing with a beer, and comforting themselves with pizzas and ice cream. What logical incentive does any young person have to want to live a long life? What old person wants to live an extra 20 years and spend 15 of them in declining health, and ending in dementia?
