ELLIS: News Flash! Breaking News! LOL!! On Marcin's patreon livestream this morn 6.26.22 he shared that the Low Bass Vocals in his Sweet Dreams are HIM. :-)) Lowered the pitch 7xs, speed is same. What is hilarious is that he referred to those "Keep your head, movin' on" on stream in Swt Drms as "his singing debut" in jest. Because the joke is among his fans, that he can't sing. Which he used to laughingly say himself. But now, lol, not so much, eh?:-) [One of the patrons brought the low bass UP 7xs, nd there was Marcin yes, making his singing debut. So cool. So fun.] Love this guy. SO refreshing! SO creative. So personable. Such a joy. :-)) [Nd YOU Ellis are *excellent* at what you do. Ellis, I love your reactions so much. Such a deep dive into the music and always so insightful. I agree with you 100%. While his own compositions have so much of him in them, I feel this is the first arrangement that shows an equal amount of who he really is. And he also produced the whole track, so this is all him, all his vision. This video is incredible, and it’s one of my favorite things he’s ever put out. He said on Patreon that he considers all the previous videos he’s put out, which are the ones that everyone is familiar with, to be the past Marcin. He considers his upcoming album, which this song will be part of, to be representative of who he is now as an artist. I for one absolutely love the direction his music is taking. I feel like he is the kind of artist who needs to constantly be growing and pushing boundaries. I cannot wait to hear a whole album of music like this.

I remember Marcin saying one of his biggest difficulties is to stay motivated after he overcomes a challenge. I think it's getting hard to find new technical challenges. He's trying new things, like his orchestral shows...

Totally agree with Linda and sorry Ellis I was swamped today but I will listen to your reaction very soon. But I was thinking of your comments about Marcin's originals when he released his Sweet Dreams and how much of him is IN this Sweet Dreams. It seems like a very personal arrangement, a more unique cover than others we've seen him do. No one could have done a better remake of this song I think than Marcin--imho better than the original. Nd I have to agree with Linda as well, I like the direction his music is taking. Always stretching the boundaries. Always complex. Maybe it was just the song itself but Marcin's Sweet Dreams sounded hauntingly beautiful and intimate. So much soul in it. ..Thank you again for reacting to our man Marcin! Happy face. Great observation with Freddie Krueger sweater and eerie music of Sweet Dreams when Freddie enters into your "dream state!" as you fall asleep!!!! Genius level creativity!!! NO ONE HAS PICKED UP ON FREDDIE KRUIGER SWEATER, AND SWEET DREAM!!! Eerie sound fits with Freddie entering your dream state to take your life!!! Also the vocals leave out the word "KEEP YOUR HEAD--(UP)!!!
