    Another great video, I would like to thank you guys for your advice and the kit I purchased from seaboard for my qsb 6.7 install to replace my iveco 5.9. I have done 50 hours and it’s all going well.

    I like that bilge pump setup. Why not just install two pumps so you don't have to crawl down and move the valve?

    I am not 100% sure the exact reason. I cant imagine its the cost of the pump. Maybe he just doesn't get much water under the cabin so it's not needed very often if ever. That would be my guess. But that's what is cool about building your own custom boat like this... There is no one right way, you get to do it your way.

    Man I'd just a gas engine with closed cooling. I think they make diesels now to sell pricey parts. To complex for me.

    He had the gassers but he had reasons for wanting the diesels. If cost is your main concern for pleasure use, gas engines are certainly cheaper. But diesel engines are sweet.
