They're actually firing a lot of woke people too. It isn't just the wrong politically marked people. The gaming industry has been losing money for a while. Just like Hollywood. Hollywood is already going in reverse slowly. Hopefully we get good movies and games again. My mine gripe with games is how many are designed to be like a movie. I don't play games to sit through 10 minutes of cutscenes. The story and dialogue can easily be told through the gameplay. Older Ratchet and Clank games did it pretty well. With a cutscene at the start, end and before and after a boss. I don't mind cutscenes. There's just too many of them that interrupt the flow of the game.

The problem is that SB and similar companies are secondary cancer. 1st cancer are money lending companies. All companies with cheap investment loans willing to give money to game studios are fully on board with DEI. So when company presents them their game idea it must be tainted with DEI from the start. Otherwise they, devs/publisher, won't get cheap loan.

It talked about Yasuke being a slave, how Nobunaga took him in, and how he was allowed to help carry his tools. That's it, there is no "we was samurai and shiz!!!" Honestly it's not just disrespectful to Japan and it's people but to Yasuke himself with Ubisoft writing fanfiction about him and claiming it to be historically accurate.

Anything involved, touched or even minutely related to the alphabet is automatically ignored and avoided like the plague.

Those losses are offset by a large countries government, incurring further debt, and turning that debt back into money via certain organisations. Hmm wonder who? SO if they make money, they win and if they lose money they win. As long as theu can spread their divisive agenda they win. The best thing we can all start doing is to recognise this stuff and start withdrawing interest and ignoring these kinds of projects. Don't like/dislike, just ignore and don't give them your time or income. Eventually at a point when they are so starved financially it will stop.

I love it when they say "reflect the real world" when in reality outside of the US and parts of Europe, theres not a lot of 'diversity'. Most countries are fairly homogeneous, but they have one thing in common though... little to no white people, which is what diversity truly means.

The only untainted studio I can think of is Fromsoftware sadly. Also the only company we’re I’d actually preorder games from and that’s if I ever do.

The fact that she said they have no final say in the final product is gaslighting at it's finest. Sure, they might not have the final say but I remember this presentation one of these people did at the GDC or some videogame dev event, where she literally said their strategy is to make the devs terrified from the backlash of not including DEI politics. That's like convincing someone to jump off a cliff and then saying "Hey, I didn't do anything! That person took the final decision!"

I was a huge CDPR fan , I will never touch or buy another game from these sellouts , Witcher was amazing, for me CDPR is already dead

that does not at all surprise me, Ive sent resumes to labels and to developers being a sound/music producer/artist and have been denied without reason twice or not responded back to. 1 indie dev had the music and sounds done already. Maybe indie is the way to go, haven't tried looking again in a couple years tbh.

Ive been playing Cyberpunk, and I can see the DEI seeping in around the edges. Claire's "Identity" is an obvious example. There is a line in here bio, that looks like it was added at the last second.

We can thank BlackRock for the ESG Rating. This is social engineering for their future. They have unlimited funds and don't care how many franchises they destroy.

The alphabet mafia seems to have infected every game. Saved me probably close to a grand this year in game purchases and 3 thousand in upgrading my rig. Thanks DEI, saved lots of cash & hope that the game developers enjoy their new careers as Starbucks baristas.

These game developers are anti-gamer. They mistakenly treat Blackrock as the consumer rather than actual gamers.

Friendly reminder: since the completion of all of the work on Cyberpunk 2077, CDPR is no longer the same company as it was before. They can hardly be called a "Polish" developer now, since most of the Polish developers who were behind CDPR's success are no longer working there, and their positions have now been filled with "veterans" from Ubisoft, Bioware or Blizzard. Thus, I wouldn't expect too much from a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and a new Witcher game, as there's a real chance that both will be typical triple-A turds. 🤷‍♂

@@jethrodark2372 CDPR is abandoning REDengine 4 because it is likely that none of the developers who created the engine remain, and I suspect that for newly hired developers, working with REDengine 4 is a sheer black magic, and the knowledge required to rewrite its code if necessary is some kind of witchcraft.

The Japanese are getting DEI infected from the inside as well. You'd notice if you look hard enough. The Koreans are our only hope now. The two major releases in recent times from Korea (Lies of P and Stellar Blade) definitely delivered and unsurprisingly exceeded sales expectations. I truly hope for the Japanese's success, but ever since the assassination of Shinzo Abe, the country hasn't been doing as well as it did. Open migration from India, Blackstone's involvement in the manga scene and etc. It can't be a coincidence. Unfortunately Japanese games are starting to become infected too. I've noticed some odd little elements with the new trails game. Nothing major or even bad tbh, but it's a slippery slope with this crap. It starts with female NPCs suddenly including fats and a silly side quest about a closeted gay guy, but it never ends there with this crap

Cyberpunk 2077 the game that was supposed to have longer and more dlc stories than the Witcher 3, yeah CDPR lies too much to be taken seriously either way.

These devs spread out to other studios and after CP2077 it happed again. Guys responsible for side missions plots and narrative + mission designs alread have their of studio... Even 2 of them emerged after cyberpunk.

One correction, they don't do this to reflect the "real world" because a lot of these Slavic countries have so little "diversity" that in some areas people have only ever seen people of color through television or the internet. US is fairly diverse but over 50-60% are whites with around 15-20% latinos + hispanic a bit lower % blacks and the rest are like sub 10% total with a mix of every other races but mainly Asians. I've seen the stats a long time ago but the estimates shouldn't be too far off. In Europe, especially in these slavic countries the total amount of non-whites are usually below 5% some go as low as less than 2%. The diversity in these countries is not the skin of your color but from which part of Europe you come from, which is something that these people always ignore and just label everyone as "white" not even knowing that just because the skin of our color is the same we have different physical features and especially different culture. But culture only matters to them if it's tied to skin color color and if the group are a minority compared to the "whites"

not to mention that for mutli-culturalism to exist in these liberal safe-haven fortresses, there needs to be homogeneous and separate cultures in the rest of the world that then come together in that melting pot. Yet the people living in these big cities cannot understand it. They think people are different just because they choose to be. That culture is individualistic. Overall, city-dwellers have an extremist ideology on individualism. They live amidst a million people, but cannot for the life of them live in a community.

One person on a video about Sushi squad had the gall to say studios like Rock steady doesn't need sbi because they already have consultants when they are listed on their website. Some people still have their heads in the sand.

Remember: The CDPR that made the "The Witcher" games is dead. Cyberpunk2077 was a first taste of what to come and it will only go downhill from there on! Also, "The Wotcher" is based on Michael Moorcocks "Elric" series. Sapkowski "borrowed" just a lot of it for himself.

Both of them were MASSIVE successes before the games released, with Marvel bringing in BILLIONS from their movies, even the bad ones (until "Captain" Marvel). The Suicide squad movie did relatively well, and anything involving Batman usually does PHENOMENALLY. And yet both those games failed so hard one is shut down, and the other can't even break 4 digit concurrent players after a new season and major content drop. The normies are catching on, finally. They're way late to the party but they're finally getting there. Even major IP like Star Wars is failing miserably, not even earning back the money it took to buy the IP from George, apparently. Indy 5 flopped BADLY. Almost nobody watched The Marvels. DEI trash IS dying, even for normies. Only the most die-hard fans of DEI, or utterly brain dead idiots, watch any of it.

Deidetected is the way to go. If you are on the list, you get no money from me. It's as simple as that.

Calling it now, all those people the studio of Zau let go? All superior to who was left behind. Better devs, better coders, better people in general.

As someone who played Witcher 1 when the game released and could barelly run on my PC and fell in love with the francise to the point of buying the game on multiple platform, preordering collector editions and so on. Farewell CPR. You were the last bastion of pure mature entertainment.

@@exysa2798 The books are woke. Literally the couple of pages of the first chapter in Season of Storms is an allegory for "everyone who is against pro-choice is a bad person". Sapkowski is also stating the pro-choice stance in Baptism of Fire, and books have lesbian character(s) (Fillippa) and one of the two main characters is not completely straight (Ciri), in the quasi-medieval world.

Personally, an SBI stamp reads as: "Not a game for me" label. Regardless of the characters or franchise they are using as a shield. We, as gamers, need to take the WEF approach and force behavioral changes through our purchases. Most people don't realize the power their wallets yield. Even if you are a HUGE fan of Wolverine and really want to play the upcoming game. Just get it on sale in a few months. Don't give these activists the full asking price. You are only ensuring their grasp on power and prolonging their reign. It will take time but at the end of the day, one of two things will happen. The companies/shareholders will abandon DEI initiatives in order to save their business. Or they will ultimately close up shop or sell off their IPs to new up and coming companies that will do right by the fans. Stay strong gamers and remember, the night is darkest just before the dawn.

He kept raising the bar higher and higher doing more out of pocket shit and everyone applauded it. That’s today’s world of the gaming industry; giving out more out of pocket slop and bullshit and applauding it; then shaming their customers who don’t buy the bullshit. Garison said it himself after getting so annoyed “You can be tolerant that doesn’t mean you should be downright stupid!”

Devs saying we need to accept the woke agenda as gamers is dimensionist against those of us from the old timeline that CERN smashed into this upside down hell realm because we are wired to be against it. I'm feeling very oppressed.

They want it to reflect America and UK. Its not as diverse in most countries.

13:34 I feel like there's a silver lining to this. While they are kicking these people, what does that leave us? While yes, a bunch of morally bankrupt studios founded on brownie points more than anything else, this also leaves us with a bunch of talent. Talent that can all conceivably, make their own studio, more than likely hire based on actual skill, and then compete with the very same studios that kicked them out of thr industry. If anything, these companies culling their employees in this manner might be thr best thing thry could actually do. While it does mean these big studios are comprised more of bad take morons, it also means that the next generation of studios that can form from all those layed off talent will also in turn have a higher concentration of people who actually know what they are doing, and could very likely "reset" the landscape, should they out compete the studios that kicked them to the curb. It might be bad now, but in the long run, this could be the perfect storm to create a stronger industry that learned from this "Lost Era" of gamming.

That is just straight up a lie. They don't want what players want. they want players to want what they want.
