Great! Love to know how feel and act every generation during Valborg. It makes able to feel like a local, when doing the same even if you have just arrived. Thanks for your humor and patient for details. I had my first Valborg this year and I liked to share thiscozy warm-cold experience with neighbours.

It was so helpful the way you explained this tradition. You gave us a real glimpse into this holiday, not some dry, disconnected textbook explanation. Thank you so much, and please keep up the good work! 💜

I know Valborg from living in Germany. I don’t think they know it here in Norway. A friend of mine here and I celebrate it most years. She also knows it from Germany. We’d often have a bonfire, then at midnight we sing every May song we can think of, singing in Norwegian and mostly German. Thanks so much for telling about Valborg in Sweden! I didn’t realize it is so big there! Maybe I should try to learn a May song in Swedish!?

Thought this came from Christian witch trials, that would have been pretty sad considered all of the nice aspects of your culture
