Thank you very much I love the video. My husband explained to me about Swedish Easter I didn’t understand until I watched your video !

I think if you add short videos about the swedish culture and traditions with their historical account it will be a nice addition to the language videos. 😉

Awesome! Thanks 🌟 The tradition of Easter in similar to Iranian New Year (noruz) and 13 Bedar which in 2 weeks after New Year. We grow grasses in New Year and plant them in the nature on 13 Bedar. We color eggs, we eat sweets and we meet our relatives and families! 🥚🐥🌿

Glad påsk!
skär är i betydelsen skär som i rening, som i skärselden, så skärtorsdag skulle snarare översättas till cleansing thursday eller purge thursday, men egentligen heter det maundy thursday på engelska.
An Easter lily is a completely different flower. The yellow one she showed in the beginning of the video is a daffodil.
Not weird at all from my German viewpoint! :D Thanks for the insight! :-)

I love the Easter witch tradition. Am guessing "kärring" translates as something like "hag" in English.

No, not so much but I have tried the Finish ones (the one that is an egg filld with chocolate) and they are delicious!

Some of these traditions are very weird from a Brazillian point of view 😅. For me is specially weird Swedish påskäggs as they are not made of chocolate and you cannot eat them 🤣

Finland stole " pynta " and twisted it to " pynttäytyä " which means getting dressed up which is to decorate yourself! ☝️
