In a way you could say they're kind of getting a bigger stage in Sweden what the Eurovision's concerned, but that's because they're way more serious about it. We, on the other hand, almost have a tradition of making a mockery of it on a regular bases (the 2022 -entry 'Give that wolf a banana' is a perfect example). - Their reason for competing for Sweden, though, is that it's harder for them to be recognized as adults in Norway, -and they're right.

Love your honest opinions... and you pretty much sound like an expert doing analyzis on it. Well. You clearly are an expert actually.

Some information about these boys that are good to know. They are 22 years old twins from Norway. Justin Timberlake is their idol which they get a lot of inspirations from (when they were younger it was Justin Bieber). I think it is beautiful that they got their very first international fame in Sweden as teenagers and now they are going to represent Sweden in Eurovision as adults! They have been professional performers since age of 10 and has been on stadium tours across Europe for years and knows how to perform in front of huge crowds. Some of their old fans say that they are happy that their childhood idols (M&M) are actually going to Eurovision haha. They work in Sweden and people joke that we have officially adopted them now haha. You should watch their song "Elektrisk" which made them famous in Sweden 2015 when they were 13. They even won Masked Singer Sweden 2022.

And Eurovision is a competition between songwriters. Something people tend to forget. The artist is just the face for the song. If he/she/them has not done the song themself. Thats also why Swedish artists competed for other Countries. Just as Celine Dion also did for an example... So that can people think what they want about...But it is a songwriter/producer competition firstly, nothing else.... Allwys been.

Quite average to me, Cool scene show, future-vibe indeed. But that's about it. I guess this was their warm up before representing Norway 🤙

Its still weird to me why they are competing in sweden when they are from Norway. They could have won in Norway with this probably atleast the last one they did for last year if they competed with air in norway they would have won. Only problem is that loreen was in their way that time.

@@hemmy8645 It must have been kids and teens voting a loooot for this one to win. I have no beef with them beeing Norweigan though. Sure the matrix homage is liked by my generation. But for me it was Smash into pieces. I wish just one time we could send something different. Swedens music scene is so rich and vibrant. Probably one of the best in the world. Cornellia Jacobs was different and great.. she did not seem to belong in Mello. But all this slick numbers that has something but just not enough is boring. Not saying though that other countries send so much betterr and I definetly do not mean different in the way Eurovision usily have their unique numbers. Those entries that are so called unique generally is the most obvious Eurovision entries of them all.

M&M just became 22 y.o. They are thus quite young artists. They sing a song about an unforgettable girl that hits them where it matters ... it´s dangerous...it´s venomous...but they don´t care ...as Young men normally don´t because they don´t think with their brains yet... normally a 22 y.o don´t use their brain when they see an unforgettable girl. Imo this is deep enough as a song for two young men. It´s difficult to write a "deep song" for such young artists and it would not really fit them . If they were say 27 then for sure we would appreciate a deeper text but for their age the lyrics fit them well...for their age it´s already a pretty deep text. Well, I never thought anything as deep as this lyrics when I was 22 .....If I saw an "unforgettable girl" when I was 22 my cortex just ceased to function ....,

This is just a semi-copy of the 90’s dance floor. To many 12 years voting, for them this is new but… no. I heard it before. Yes it’s good, for the floor but in a competition that is about melody… I hope not. We can do much better. It’s time for all the old farts who rewrite the same f…ing song year after year after year…
