Swapping between the Method Feeder and Pellet Waggler | German Lane Fishery
Another tough heatwave session! You are joining us back at German lane where I’m told there are some absolute chunks to target, my aim when setting off was to try and get a double figure carp on either the method feeder or pellet waggler.
With the weather being a little cooler after a prolonged very hot spell (up to 30c) I thought we would have a good day. However it’s fishing and you can’t predict it.
As you will see from the video I cycled through every trick In the book to try and get a nice carp.
Get yourself a brew or a beer and see if my perseverance was rewarded.

Great video! Personally i don't get the impression that your trying to "teach" anyone just enjoying a good day out fishing with your dad and showing those interested on how you approach the way you fish!!

Great video 👍😎
Bit of a pee off day but nice to see the last one made the day and dad was a bit quiet today 🤣 👍
Once again top notch video, nice carp to end on , roll on the next one 🎣🎣🎣
nice mirror at the end pal lovely and clean :)
I like to cut my bread bait with scissors. I find I always get the right size and a lot less waste.
Great video westy, little tip for mixing your pellets and keeping your hands clean, get some surgecal rubber gloves. I always use them.
Some nice fish there westy especially that last carp eh.looks like your dad had some nice roach fishing on his peg.

We all have those hard days pal, just shows you have the bottle to put it out on film and not hide behind just the good days 👍 great fish to end on though Matt, love using bread in summer as imo it can be more devestating than winter. Caught numerous carp on this tactic so well done 👏 👍🎣🎣🎣

Thanks Tony ! 💯 % people need to know that it’s not going to be full on every single session 🎣
Pellet waggler is my favourite method in hot weather

May have to give the worms a shot ! Suppose you have always got the chance of a decent Perch fishing like that also 👌🏻
You pay £12 for one rod and £17 for two at Darenth lakes in Dartford Kent. Cheeper to fish where you live.
Great way to close the session that! Does seem very slow fishing there. I went to rosemary wood last weekend my rod never stopped going round all day on the method

No problem at all ! Thank you for supporting the channel 🎣
I have tried the wafters and ground bait and don't want to go back flout as had loads of fish ok.
I fish where your dad is under the tree in the corner they seem to hide there on a warm sunny day! Had quite a few from that corner. Have to get it out the snag quick though 🙄 Nice fish mate… 👊

Tell me about it ! Those branches must come right out 😂 they are always in the most risky places 🎣
Hi, slow for you, but a good film. It goes to show nothing wronged in changing things up & down or method to float.
Another great video , when u fish the method feeder at really silty venues , which feeder do u use ,method feeder, or banjo ,or hybrid feeder many thanks Mike Higgins
@WestysAngling
Жыл бұрын
Banjo/hybrid would probably be best 😁 but I’m not sure it matters so much !
Hiya Westy, another great video! I was just wondering what your feeder arm is? Its seems quite solid.

It’s the one that comes with the caperlan feeder chair! I have adapted it though to make it even more robust with a screw in leg 👌🏻🤣
Hi there... Noticed that some weeks "Dad." chooses an accessory chair and some weeks a seat box.. Would be nice if he or you could explain the pro's n con's Your video's are great entertainment..!!
@WestysAngling

Will do Stu ! I think it just depends on if he is fishing on the alarms or feeder /float 👌🏻
@PaulsWest

The chair is definitely the comfier option, especially at my age. 😅 But I do prefer the box when fishing the float or tip, I feel more alert and in control on the box.
Your dads nicked my peg !

This fishery is a tough one, because I know people that have had really really good sessions here but I have never had any luck with it. But you are right !
Don’t see the point fishing two rods ,I don’t think it should be allowed on a commercial,just my opinion
@WestysAngling
Жыл бұрын
I do understand why you feel like that, but for me it increases my odds of catching allows me to try different baits at the same time and also allows me to try two different areas like the margin and island swim like this 👌🏻🎣
