Too much respect for the opposition, lack of confidence early on, residual memory of the last time the teams met? Could be any or all of those things. However, what I have noticed over the past few seasons is that once they are under pressure and underdogs in a losing position, they start to play - when it's already too late. It's as if they feel comfort in playing when they are losing. They are not comfortable in a winning position, they let go. It's not a lack of quality, it's a lack of belief, a lack of killer instinct, which has become entrenched. I didn't expect a win or draw, to be honest. I'm actually pleasantly surprised with the result, which might sound a bit odd. It's an improvement. If only they had that belief and killer instinct from the start to the finish that they showed in the second half. If only they had that confidence in themselves. They need to do the last minute scramble to win from the start to the finish. Anyway, no harm done but no gains made. They need to focus on making gains.
We need a striker Yates and lowe are not clinical enough

I agree but I think Lowe is more of a lw or rw and I like him right now is form might be bad but later might be good his got potential I remember him 2 years ago for us he was class but Jerry Yates he’s not a good proper striker he’s missing easy chances and has no physical
First half cost us second half much better ❤
Southampton fan: I enjoy getting the opposition's perspective but how on Earth did you lot deal with that scouser screaming "YESSSSS" every time you get beyond the half way line?
I was at the game
If by any miracle of God we end up in playoff , I would love to face this Southampton

😂😂 what about the 60 minutes Southampton dominated? And Swansea scored an offside goal with a handball in the build up…
It was not Darling who watched the ball for Soton's first goal, it was Fulton. Nor was Darling to blame for Soton's second goal. It was a clear offside and it was Wood who could have cleared the ball but for some reason didn't. Stop blaming Darling for everything.
your goal hand ball and offiside congrats🤣🤣🤣 i still dont want VAR though lol one of our goals was offside but we should of been 6-1 up at half time swings and roundabouts

This is the Swansea City KZread channel. Not sure what you want to hear from commentators who are Swansea supporters
Considering Southampton are a premier league team, swans should have been smashed again by them, especially 1st half. But in 2nd half we dominated the game. With the few very unlucky shots off post and Southampton 2nd goal off side, could have easily been 3-2 swans

Lets not forget the Swansea goal that was also offside & handball. Both teams got lucky with calls when it came to a goal. We completely dominated for 60 minutes before we made subs which seemed to ruin our shape. I agree with the fact that in the last 20 mins you had most of the run of play but at the end of the day, you failed to capitalise on your chances. I could've seen it being 3-3 at least. Don't think you could've gotten the win though.

Saints are no where near the finished article yet just much better than we were. We can still be very weak defensively as Swansea showed second half.
