Part 3 of the Swanage Railway's 'Strictly D-Day' gala on 6th June 2024.
British Railways (Southern Region) 'Battle Of Britain' Class 4-6-2 No. 34072 "257 Squadron" was the third of three steam locomotives taking part in the D-Day anniversary.
From Swanage, "257 Squadron" ran up the line to Norden via Corfe Castle, and after running around her train, she departed tender-first for Swanage via Harmans Cross.
