The boys are known for taking on some rough boating conditions, but this is next level! The tinnie mounted to Swampy - the 1996 Toyota Hilux with 46" extreme mud terrain 4WD tyres - is the only way to save the stranded quads from the other side of river that is rapidly flooding due to a cyclone passing overhead in remote Lorella Springs, Northern Territory (Australia).

It's entertainment sure gets a bit far fetched but those who know nothing of 4x4s bikes an bush it's a buz.

They could have waded the boat across. Or just used a rope front to back and pulled it.

Literally coulda just chained them to a tree far enough from the river's edge and gone back a day few days later. They were only 2km away

You have a winch on the hilux???
Put the front tires on the correct direction put the rears backwards u lose steering input from the tred being backwards but if forward traction is more important thats fine u just loose some steering grip
bloke driving the boat is so dramatic, mate its a tinny not a yacht.
They really picked the right time to tell them about the weight of the quad didn’t they...
is that thing road legal?

Should’ve attached swampys winch to the boat
far out bit how ya going
Would had have worked better if you used the winch off swampy and pulled yourself over and the out bored too to make it a little safer

The winch rope might not have been long enough to each across
The river is 2 kms away now it's right next to the house overnight I'm confused

The river can be right near the house but not crossable....the best place to cross the river is 2klms away
should of ran the winch line across the river could of helped pull the boat across hanging on it

why not just leave the quads on higher ground till water goes down?!

should of pulled the winch line across to a tree then you could of hung onto it going back across with a quad
