The key however is to do it not for yourself... Vivekananda wept WITH, laughed WITH, celebrated WITH others in THEIR sorrows, joys, successes, for THEIR sakes, while himself being above the fray. This is an incredibly advanced stage of detachment. 🙂🙏

Who told you that Ashoka's name shine among thousand of monarchs. Come out of your delusional and western mindset. Ashoka is mentioned/remembered as "Chandal Ashoka" in Indian tradition. He converted to Buddhism 4 years before Kalinga war and killed millions in there. Then after the war, during his reign, he persecuted ajivikas and jains. Don't just be an spiritual seeker, read some history as well, to keep yourself in reality.
