It's a big job but well worth it. Nothing sounds as great as a Terminator wot running headers! BTW, even though your Cobra is running better with the exhaust upgrade, you should still get it tuned. You'd be surprised how much more power you can get as well as making sure the engine is running at a safe condition.

Great choice with magnaflow, definitely deeper sound. You'll still want to do a tune after longtubes though. Question, what mic do you have? Still picks up your voice instead of getting drowned out by the car.

Car sounds sick even with with stock manifolds. Can you list everything rear of the headers like what X-pipe or H-pipe and what mufflers you are running? I loooove that cracking and popping on decel and for the life of me cannot replicate it on my 2003 Cobra.

The stock manifolds on these cars and 07-14 gt500s are crap. They aren't like coyotes with a decent exhaust manifold stock no sir lol.

Ugh man, everyone’s doing headers lately... I can see myself doing this over the summer. I need them next.. Does the header wrap help a lot? If it does it will be good for keeping heat off the alt! Then removed cats, then swapped to magnapacks, then finally to Borla S type. So from the outside it has the look of the Bassani, but it sounds like Borla 🔥 I made some vids on it.

That was my first option but when I heard the magnaflows I fell in love. Also, magnaflows offers 3” and stingers only come in 2.5”

My 07 gt500 picked up 15/40 rwhp/rwtq going from full free flowing exhaust to the same setup w long tubes. It picked up 15-25 rwhp through most of the curve and 30-40 tq and alot down low it was noticable it also did it at around 1 psi less boost. Sound was noticably better too btw 07-14 gt500 have the same shit stock manifolds these cobras have. 2650 tvs on 93/boostane 20 psi before 19 psi after stock long block. Sound was noticably better too

Sounds like it got some ⚽️🏀🏐🏈⚾️!

Congrats. A great simple setup for good power is gen3r blower swap, longtubes full exhaust a big 5 inch intake and the biggest tbody you're comfortable with running as much boost as you can on the best fuel you can run. You'll wanna do a fuel system too. That is high 600 rwhp easy even on 93 octane.

Did you get it tuned after the install? I recommend doing so before going WOT.

I would highly recommend it. With those long tubes you aren’t maximizing the potential performance wise, and it is going to run super rich. Running too rich can pose a risk to washing out a cylinder and then you need a motor. If it were my car, I wouldn’t have even started it or drove it until I had a tune for them, but thats just me being anal and picky. She sounds badass! My 04 sounds pretty close to the same!

Headers make it alot more throaty. That is what I noticed going from full free flowing exhaust to same setup with long tubes on my 07 gt500 with 2650 tvs. It's louder under throttle and quieter off throttle with less drone. Sounds nasty. It was good before but noticably better after. Picked up alot of tq and 15-25 rwhp through most of the curve 30-40 tq
